  1. Yesterday
  2. I already put a pair of Acid pedals on it, assuming the factory ones wouldn't be great. Next plan is a new seat, as the factory one is not comfortable. Other than that, no plans to change anything, it's just a fitness tool - my playful bike will come out of retirement once I'm a bit fitter again
  3. Just noticed your Alltrack 5 steed, looks nice. Any additional parts you plan or hoping to change to make it more playful (storter stem), or will you keep it strictly to trail use with the factory parts.
  4. Last week
  5. Yeah that NDURO 100 thing looks especially bad, the one below it isn't too ugly imo. Mine isn't pretty, but it fit the bill in terms of budget and massive battery - it's a free bike so I can't complain really.
  6. I don't know quite what it is but they kinda make my eyes bleed... They're almost like caricatures of eMTBs or sometihing. Frame shapes, tubing positions, colourways... Nope, not a fan but enjoy it!!
  7. I'm a long way off being able to ride even half that distance! You're not a fan then 😂
  8. Are Haibike's designed by blind people? Like, good for them if so but really...
  9. Earlier
  10. If you go for a shit beforehand I reckon you could get 200 👍
  11. I dare you to try it.
  12. Throwing up some random pictures of our house. Renovation started about three years ago and took six months to be ready to move in. The house was in rough shape so I've still got enough weekend projects to last a few years. The water damage to the floor system was bad enough that we propped up the roof and interior walls and ripped the floor system out and built a new one. It was literally collapsing first time I went in. Removed a few walls to open up the layout. Changed the bathroom layouts. Moved some closets. New windows, doors, roofing, HVAC system. All new plumbing. Updated most of the electrical. Southeast USA.
  13. Been waiting for the cheeky link to appear 🤣 Banned!
  14. Nice looking Zoot! There's a lot of footwear available, five ten/adidas, ride concepts, vans, specialized, hebo etc. Look for sales, shoes don't last forever. Different glove makers will have different sizes so you might have to shop around. I'm medium with Fox gloves, large with Giro. Soft shin pads will rip, but I've always prefered them over hard pads. Same for knees and elbow, hard is great, but definitely hinders trials movements. Good luck!
  15. I love a bit of copy and paste. Also, I'm sure Nationwide and Halifax would be really interested in your waterfront property in Texas. Let's keep it going! 😂 I'd love to know the success rate of these spam bots.
  16. Huge congrats to everyone who’s completed recently—definitely feels like we’re joining the “grown-up” club now 😂 We just viewed a place this week and absolutely fell in love. It ticks all the boxes for us: decent garden, good location, and surprisingly within budget. We already messaged the owner saying we’re ready to make an offer and will be getting in touch with the estate agent first thing tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed! Since we’re first-time buyers, we’re hoping that gives us a bit of an edge. Still shopping around for the best mortgage deal—who’s everyone gone with? We’ve heard good things about Nationwide and Halifax for first-timers. Also starting to think about the practical side of moving—like sorting storage and outdoor gear. If you're near the water like we are (moving closer to Lake Travis), I found this site useful for longer-term boat slip options: url — if anyone's done something similar, would love to hear your setup! Let’s keep the house chat going—so helpful hearing other people’s experiences.
  17. I mean if you live in the southwest everywhere is considered "the north". The M4 is the North/South divide.
  18. We're closing on a house next month. After living in a mobile home for the better part of 20 years it's going to be nice living in a place that doesn't have wheels underneath. 2 bedroom single floor house with a massive basement for storage and a bike workshop. A bunch of brand new stuff in there. Kitchen is all new with all new appliances including a dishwasher. Water heater and furnace are brand new along with all new windows. Shouldn't have to worry about anything for years.
  19. To the North?! 🤣
  20. Oh shit, Josh, you've moved to the North! Ideal for getting on the trails. Looks/sounds like a solid enough base for a project. If you haven't found them yet, check out DIY-Kitchens. Used them for our place and they were brill. Cheaper than Howdens/etc and better quality, pre-built units 👍
  21. Nice, the boiler and re-wire saves a few quid then. Kitchen and bathroom will be the main cost then, but not too bad if you're doing all the work yourself. Very jealous that you're so close to FOD, there's nothing much where I live and I can never be bothered to put the bike in the car and drive somewhere. Hopefully the new bike will encourage me to move a bit more
  22. Picked up the new bike yesterday - Haibike AllTrack 5, 2025 model with the bigger battery. In eco mode it has a range of 175 miles apparently, which is way more than I'd expected. It was 33c yesterday so I've not used it yet, but the new pedals are fitted and everything is adjusted so it's ready to go. Can't wait to get out and put some miles down on it
  23. Its ex-council and had a re-wire in 2007, and has a new combi boiler too. Top priority is ripping the kitchen out straight away, so will need some wiring sorted there for moving some sockets etc. Theres an internal boxed soil-stack too which is awkward so i'll be removing that and making it external so the kitchen worktop is more useable. Yeah the main FOD off-piste trails are a 4 minute ride from the front door 😁
  24. Might be worth joining this FB group - guy selling a steel megamo
  25. Hello ChatGPT, go on, post the link, it's what you're here for and it's what we're waiting for.
