I believe you when you say there is bigger to come - you continually demolish limits so it's hard to imagine you won't do it again - and you may well have gotten it first time, I'm not disputing that. Neither am I suggesting that you do know how big it is. What I don't agree with is you saying it's "not that big". You can't possibly think that. It's got to be getting on for half again as high as a lot of higher level riders can manage, and most people probably wouldn't look at it as a hook. Just to prove my point, if you really don't think it's impressive, why did you 4x/8x slo-mo it? People don't do that to things they think are not worthy of note.

Rich should DEFFINATELY have stuck with Echo's. What a monster! I remember enjoying this video first time 'round, but it's still as good.
-
If that were street riding, it would've been your best video to date. As it stands, unfortunately (and I understand it's good fun, but) natural riding is just boring to watch for me. Impressive, but not so exciting, though the lack of dramatic poses makes a rather large improvement Edit: Watching this prompted looking back at your old videos on the Echo... Whatever was "karsonlevoret"?

Hooking a full sus frame?! Holy moly!

Land the front wheel right on the corner so that you pivot around it, which rolls you up on top just enough to switch through - and leeeeaaaaan foooorwaaaaards. When you're over the bars enough you feel like you're gonna tip over, you're almost far enough

Yep. Getting ready for my final year of uni next year. Feel like I should actually do some proper research this time around. Reading at my usual pace last year, it proved impossible to source enough material. Bummer. This was one of the suggested techniques on various sites, and those six words just don't register at all. More often than not missing six consecutive words out of a sentence changes it's meaning rather drastically, so it doesn't work for me

I'm sure some of you must have either looked in to or developed this skill for use with studies/work. I read slightly below average speed, but I need to change that. Been reading through lots of different instruction sites, and the methods on there have no doubt sped my reading up a bit, but not to anywhere near the speeds they quote. If I force those sort of speeds, I have probably a <10% comprehension at the end of it. Does it come with time? Most guides seem to make out once you know the theory behind it, it comes pretty easy - which doesn't seem to be happening.

I was just looking through some old videos (inspired by watching Chainspotting ) and came across this channel. Looks like an incomplete work, so it might be even better in the future. Lots of older videos I've never seen, for sure! http://www.youtube.com/user/BikeTrialsMedia

Can't believe how much has changed in such a relatively short time. As Adam said, I don't really "get it" - I'm too new-school a rider for it - but it's very interesting seeing what it all came from.

You'd have to have your music on insanely loud to not hear sirens or horns. So loud in fact - assuming you're using standard headphones and not anything with a particularly good noise-cancelling system - you'd have a serious hearing impairment or be totally deaf after not very long anyway, meaning you'd have just as serious a problem on future rides, without the bonus of listening to dem bangin choonz. Just turn it down a bit, and look around a bit more to "compensate" for lowered hearing. When I ride anything further than just down to the shop, I have it on just quiet enough that I can hear cars behind me. Headphones, whilst also being much more comfortable and usually a better sound quality are also better for this than earphones. Depends if you wear a helmet or not.

Never has my mental state been encapsulated so utterly. Seriously... what?
-
I hate to break it to you, but I've spotted rather a large problem with this concept. You've missed out the seat tube.
-
Did you mean you've tried chainless trials, or did you think all that squeaking in the video was coming from something other than the brakes?
-
I went on a bike with bulbs a while back. May have been XC's, but I'm reasonably sure they were bulbs, and the lack of engagements was crippling. Seriously worth going for a ProII on the rear.

Superglue? Crazy mofo. Couple of tabs of sellotape is negligibly heavier, but no doubt better for any changes you might want/need to make? Nice ride though! Couldn't get it much further in the dropouts if you wanted to

I like those gussets. Those are nice gussets.

Join the club Revolver's gone brakeless too. Bandwagon stage two!

Just so you know, we use "£" in this country, as opposed to "$".

Be the best rider that ever lived. Oh wait... That'll never happen, so I guess I'll have to ride until I die! What a shame
-
Beast. I'd guess that too, to be honest. Who else has a frame that colour

1" and 1.25"

Why can't people just upload videos in the proper aspect ratio?! It's not a hard thing to do, and it greatly increases watchability.
-
Really want to know a weight on that. Forks look better built up than I was expecting. Never seen those frames before either. Dead nice!
-
No. There isn't. Just a quick fix for a lack of 24" tubes. Also - as a side note aimed at people who say what Mark said about not fitting in nicely... If you fold the tube inside itself, the issue ceases to be. Can shrink the diameter as much as you like, no bulge as the bit that's folded over just doesn't inflate. Only issue with it is a very slightly heavy spot, but if you do it opposite the valve it almost works as an advantage
