  1. Here I'm not sure what the building was but it was a lot bigger than it looks in the pics. Barely any light and to get on the roof you had to stand on the rail of some stairs and climb through a trap door (in hindsight it was a stupid thing to do, but I was young then.) Once you were on the roof you could walk up some metal stairs and across a walkway to the huge round things. Used to be a huge ramp to quarter pipe in the building on the left, and a big halfpipe built outside. This was until Chavs found it and discovered fire, there were gas canisters in all of the buildings so I'm suprised no one got hurt. One time the police sealed it all up and bolted all the entrances, but then the skaters found a way in and started building stuff outside. Then the police had a whole campaign of skater hating so it got checked on frequently until it was demolished Not really a dodgy place, but it was cool.
  2. How much are you looking for it? Assuming its just the frame I might be interested.
  3. In the timeline select the line you want to keyframe: hit the stopwatch next to the value of the line. Then just skip to where you want to make a new keyframe and change the values to whatever they need to be. I didn't explain this very well, but there are hundreds of tutorials on google
  4. I am quite tempted to spend a whole day relpying to posts in here, however I am not sure I could keep my post under the maximum character limit First of all I have to say I am appauled by the ignorance displayed by both Theists and Atheists in this topic. People are entitled to believe what they want: we cannot prove or disprove the existence of a God or the Big Bang. You really need to research someone's beliefs before you critise them and you might not have a way of researching someone's beliefs without asking them, especially if they are an Atheist. What is the evidence? Blind people unexplainably being able to see again? Maybe there is a scientific explanation for that. Even if there isn't an explanation it doesn't mean it was the will of a God. Lets look at it like this: something cannot be explained so it is the will of a God. Well then surely you are saying that the lack of an explanation for something is infact proof of a god. Its like saying "I can't explain something therefore I can explain it." Furthermore it will be difficult for other people to explain an event like this because 1. They were not there and 2. They only know the anecdote you describe, so they miss the parts you delete/edit out of the story (even if you do not intend to.) You make some very intriguing points. Personally my thoughts on time end up only contradicting each other (much like my thoughts on many of the subjects in this topic.) However ultimatley I think the universe may have just blipped into existance. Now this may be hard to understand as inevitably the question 'What was there before that?' will be brewing in the minds of almost every human reading that statement. However just because a human mind (which I think although it is the most dominant on this planet, it is certainly primitive when it comes to understanding the complex mechanics of our universe) cannot comprehend something, does not mean that it is plausible. The time has always existed analogy satisfies our methods of comprehending such a topic, but I think this way of thinking could certainly be flawed because of something a retired teacher once told me (I'd be damned if any of my teachers had told me something half as useful). You seem to be a very intelligent and educated man, so I am assuming you have heard the 'Turtles All the Way Down' story: in which a famous scientist (ironically nobody is sure of who it was anymore) was giving a lecture on the basics of our current astronomical theories (the Earth revolving around the sun etc) when at the end of his lecture an old woman approached him and said that "What you have just told us is false: the Earth is not suspended in space, it sits on the back of a giant turtle." To which the scientist asked "What does the Turtle stand on?" and she replied "You can't fool me, its turtles all the way down!". Now the idea of an infinite number of turtles stacked on each other just to explain the position the Earth is in is a humerous idea to me. So what would happen if we replaced the word 'Turtles' with 'Time?' Then we have "Its time all the way down!" Which now seems just as preposterous as the Turtles idea. So we begin to see the possible flaw in this way of thinking. You can replace the world turtle for a lot of other words aswell, however that would only stray from the original subject more Apologies for any bad grammar/spelling in this post. I'm tired and I have a problem with of my eyes so my vision is quite blurry atm.
  5. Did he actually confirm that he would sell it to you?
  6. Thats not actually a bad idea.. Punch bag?
  7. The thing that annoys me most is fat people that drive about a hair's width away from your back wheel - you know for a fact that they couldn't pedal half as fast/considerate as you are doing. I had one nearly knock me over the other day on the way to work.
  8. When I sidehop I don't think about tucking. Usually what I try to do is keep my body roughly where it is - I then throw my bike up and to the side and then move my body, that way I can get optimal height without having to tuck alot when I land. Perhaps you probably already knew this, but I've noticed alot of people do it differently to me and struggle to get past a certain height.
  9. Ashton stuff was supposed to be out this month, although that isn't looking like its going to happen now though...
  10. Benito is using the momentum of 1 hop to get him over, I find Rick's more impressive because of the fact he does it off the back wheel. Either way just getting that high is amazing.
  11. Having read your post I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean gapping down to front - as in the object you land on is lower than the one you took off from?
  12. I went to St. Ives last summer and took my bike with me. I even went riding in that place with all the walls and benches a few times because it was just around the corner from where I stayed, but I had no idea that there were any trials bikers in St.Ives lol. Good video guys, I enjoyed this
  13. Those echo brakes can be a pain sometimes, one of my friends has one. I'd go for the magura if I was you Deng is the name of the man that owns : Adamant, CZAR, GU, Zoo! and Echo. People usually refer to those makes as Deng.
  14. The geometry is pretty similar to the old ET frame they made. Someone on here will probably know the geo of them
  15. I remember that a mate of mine had some clip on lights, he put them on his spokes and it looked awesome. Would it be 'legal' enough if I was to do this?
  16. I have a nice idea for this. As long as plenty of other people join up I'd be happy to participate
  17. Its May now. Where's my ashton!
  18. Usually people who ride with their left foot forward (me) put their wheels to the left of the object they are attempting to get up, this also means sidehopping to the right. However there is no real 'rule' for it, just do it how you feel most comfortable
  19. You might want to read this article...
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkudqkDvu6s...re=channel_page Sorry Mr.J Seriously, that would be sweet if you made that!
