haha, ye maybe you should of tried that! doubt it would of worked though! im running new pads and i did take them all apart and clean them up before. As for lube....wd40 ok? and when you say use the bolts, are you talking the small adjuster screws to the sides of the pads which adds or takes away tension? cheers luke

hey guys, i run avid ultimate v-brakes front n rear on my 24. The front is heaven. However the rear im having a problem with, let me see if i can explain. The arms always seem to pull to one side as if maybe one of the spring tensioners isnt functioning one one side. If i pull an arm to one side it doesnt spring back to its original position like the front, it kinda seems sluggish. ive used the adjuster screws and it seems cool then as i ride ill stop, have another look an the pads are no longer central (ones touching and the other is futher away from the rim) anyone know what ive done wrong or what it could be? im thinking maybe use another one of the holes in the frame to add more tension?

theres a pikey (i saw pikey they have a house now lol) family near us who do drives, cheap as f**k, shit as f**k! 'should be the motto really! they change company names every so often but you always know its them. they did ours! when it came time to pay the dude had to ask my dad to read some stuff cos he couldnt read or write. the same family also appeared on rogue traders! haha! drives fairly wank and uneven but its still a brick driveway and its been there 10 years id say!

revived! considering adding to my tattoo on my right arm (grandads initials and a halo) ive got some ideas but i cant put them to paper. Problem i have is, i want to go to my tattooist and ask him to design it but i know whatever he does it wont be perfect for me at first, and i just feel like a dick if he puts all the effort in and i dont like it and ask him to keep changing it. And when i finally decide and he gets it how i want it is when i can ask him how much....then id prob have to save up lol. i just feel like im gonna be a pain. what do you think of this idea? as part of my design i was thinking of having either an antique picture frame or a notice board which is empty. And throughout my life ill add lil symbols that represent a parts of my life. eg - id have a map of ausrtalia as i have just traveled there and id have a trials bike. just a random idea to collect stories represented in simple images.
