I have a Galaxy S3 (and a spare Galaxy S somewhere), and I'm starting to think that the smartphone is too much of a compromised formula. I think the best system is to have a normal phone (ideally a Nokia 3310) and a tablet. That way you can actually read web pages, your phone doesn't run out of battery, texting with one hand is easy and apps are easier to use. If you're the sort of person tiny, delicate, girly hands then smartphones seem to work well, but I have pretty fat thumbs and arthritis, so I can't hit the right thing accurately enough. When I write out a text message, I usually get at least 30% of the characters wrong, even though I chose the S3 because it had the biggest touch screen on the market at the time, so the keys on the keyboard were the biggest.
