  1. Shame there arent more pics of all the riders there. unless its just a teaser of what is to come from these guys at the next big london ride in september. nice monty tim. did you bump that concrete thing, or hopped it clean?
  2. Not not really worth thinking about. catalog is HISTORY, internet is TODAY.
  3. There should have been ride session yesterday though i wouldnt have made it due to doing security work at Reading Festival. spoke to Mel.C (sporty spice of spice girls) and Kelly Osbourne. forgot to bring my camera and take pics from the event :ermm:Ps, what Phil king posted with the london A-Z map thing is what i wanted to do with all the southeast london locations ive found. found some new northeast stuff now, so pics will be coming asap when i get round to it. presently looking/roaming around Earls Court area for the next CycleShow.
  4. You wanna invest in a cycle machine and regularily go swimming when you get outta hospital to strengthen and condition all your trial specific muscles, joints, and ligaments. its a shame M.Ashton is not a forum member, as he know what its like go through the healing process after breaking his back some years back. esspecially being a pro rider earning a living from riding bikes. he must of went through mental hell being stuck in a hospital bed for months on end, being stuck i a wheelchair for more months on end. so if any one trials rider should be able to provide support its him. if you wanna cross over to extremes in terms of body damage and recovery, look no further than Matt Hoffman. hes been through it all. get his autobio and read it through to the end...
  5. I dont have access to a grinder, so would a course type file do as an alternative? On the issue of grinding, wouldnt VERTICAL Grind lines make better contact for brake pads than HORIZONTAL Grind lines? because there is greater stopping resistance...like the pic above i just noticed.
  6. Ive seen equally bad crashes/falls from trials...potentially severe injury and life threatening stacks. still dumbfounded by Darren Hill stack! most common board crashes are falling on your back, arse, and the classic ANKLEBUSTER. stacks, injury, and pain is part parcel of anying sporting discipline. so if you cant hack the inevitable you shouldnt be doing any beyond your comfort level but sometimes even that goes against you as it did will Darren.
  7. Wow dude . are you sure you can manage such a feat . ok your not a total cripple, but it sounds like it might be mission for you...getting up and about that is.
  8. Awesome paint black/white scheme a bit of a tight squeeze with the chainline but im assuming it works fine. very unique rig
  9. Why are you bumping your post on semi-built bike . Get your bike built first, then post a good pic and less of the senseless bumping your bike looks naked
  10. Er As, have you noticed that yourself and Jammy have posted the same topic, or are you heading to another part of plymouth on a different day? maybe you can drag Martyn Ashton down your direction. ps, cant afford to go, im just killing time at my local internet cafe with this post.
  11. Oh my god! who the hell was that little kid tackling that rock section . Cant wait to the rest of the that coverage with better quality images.

    Tartybikes

My point exactly. so what again what really happens to these unsold bike parts. they surely dont get crushed and recycled like they do with modern cars.
  13. i reckon the headangle is between 72.5-73 degrees. doesnt look slack enough to be 72 degrees judging by the profile of the front tyre, the steep 15-20 rise monty stem and high rise bars. must be way comfortable on the backwheel for comp use. very nice rig. guess it wont be availiable until 2008.
  14. The mod looks cool but that rear mech disc brake is just bordering on ridiculous! why would anyone need such power for a rear brake is beyond me the white ST-1 prototype looks the same geo.
  15. Pure comedy  Oh do try this at home
  16. bumping this post so that interested members get an early night. unless youve got a digi-box with programme record feature.
  17. Lost my photo memory card which is why i havent sorted a photobucket . gotta invest in a new one and start all over again with visiting the old and new london trial sites and taking pics . dont ask me how im feeling about losing it :$ , as you all can pretty much guess how f**ked off i am :(ps, thats another reason why im not there with you guys.
  18. i noticed youve got THINKBIKES and TARTYBIKES stickers on the frame So where did you get your frame from?
  19. Very nice gear . but more importantly, reasonably priced .
  20. Yeah Akrigg trained for this thinking it was a bmx style course. little did he know it had too many big jumps. not helpful.
  21. Quality riding , shame about quailty of the vid .
  22. Cant be bothered with battresea, esspecially after finding another southeast london location littered with small/medium rocks earlier today. likehood ill checkout the evening ride session around 7-8pm. you do know chai that rain/showers are expected during the morning/afternoon. another reason why im not bothering with battersea morning sess.
  23. bumping this again. yeah i know its not trials, but akrigg rode well till his crash.
