  1. No need to worry about that as im gonna upload most of them asap. i caught up with neil tunnicliffe earlier today during his demo for Land Rover (near canary wharf tube 12-1:30pm demos). and hopefully later this evening, im gonna hook with nezz at canary wharf around 6-7pm and take him to a few of these riding spots. Nezz hopes to attend a london ride because he saw my photos and manged to visit one of the sites. i think Martin (london trialster from south africa) must of taken him there. ill try and update everyone where were at this weekend...depending on how much freedom nezz gets in the evening from his Land Rover commitments. 07905519145 if any trialsters wanna tag along later....but again depends if nezz can get away to ride.
  2. Ok london trialsters, heres the deal with Neil Tunnicliffe (whom i just ran into canary wharf a few hours ago). Nezz is demoing for Land Rover at the Canary Wharf Motor show all week. Nezzs demo rig looks tiny due to lack of space, but ill gets some pics of him riding it tomorrow. hes staying at some hotel in the wharf area. had a brief chat with him and showed him photos of various london and southeast london sites which hes was amazed by. so ill give nezz a guided tour with another rider named Martin from south africa. ive got nezzs mobile number so any riders wanna know where we will be on a day to day basis then text my number and get back to you asap. gonna log out now from my local net cafe. 07905519145
  3. If Neil. T is doing that in Canary Wharf, i know 4 hot riding spots there. 2 spots are 5mins riding, but the other is at least 10-15mins trials riding pace but worth it because its least 50-60 metres long and wide and very tech. Ps, who is riding later tonight and where? too hot and sticky to ride now. not coming out till at least 6-7pm when the weather is more favourable. logging out now of my local netcafe now, so if anyone has any info on Neil.T whereabouts then someone text/buzz me anytime. 07905519145
  4. Yeah count me in as im availiable for riding all week. and Nezz if you can spare the time, id like to get some pics of you at some of the south east london riding spots. as ive been trying for ages to get riders down here. gonna hopefully post all pics ive got so far this thurs, fri. detailing info on how to get there.
  5. Thats one hell of an achievement to get a stock 26in rig under 22lbs. are you its an 04, and not an 07, because its in such immaculate condition for a 3yr old frame. unless you had it powder coated white.
  6. Snail Cams are simply the best idea for 116mm mod rigs. no need for me to explain as they are easy as pie to fit. as the WTB Werewolf tyres, they are amazingly grippy in wet conditions, roll nicely on urban, but their medium compound means forget skidding period...not that i do that sh*t anyway. Ps, using Black ODI grips now and the V12 pedals are already scratched. so im way beyond crying about it now.
  7. Originally Hugh Barker rig, now mine with slightly different gear.

Reynolds tubing has a better weight-to-strength ratio than 4130, as close to titanium as you can get. dont reckon you need 725 to construct a custom uni-cycle rig as 500 plus series Reynolds is good enough strength wise with the extra benefit of lighter weight than 4130. Clive Leeson is probably the best man to speak to about which reynolds tubing is ideal for style of uni-trials. T45 would only be good for doing monsterous drops. Alu is only good for comp use. hope that helps.
  9. Good riding, though unfortunately i couldnt help myself to skip most that clip to watch Danny Mac with his way sick trick skills on his Echo Control. not sure what he was doing crashing in that dirt section.
  10. If your right foot forward, then its generally easier (but certainly not the rule) to flick, or spin clockwise. left foot forward for anti-clockwise flicks and spins.
  11. ODI Lock-On grips (Ruffian type). enough said. look out for the limited red colour if they are floating around any bike shops.
  12. The General Tumb rule is that its far easier your todays generation of people to pick up a dedicated skill from an experienced, or master of that skill whom spent most of his/her life homing the techniques of that skill. Riders like Hans Rey and OT, pioneered the various trials techniques, we just observe, follow, and copy them. and some of us (very few of us) push the boundries of that technique further through our journey of riding.
  13. So what Deng originally designed to be Echo forks, then later change them to Zoo Pitbull. dont why they bothered, should just call them Deng forks instead and offer them in both silver & black. silver does look better though
  14. Yeah i was witnessing earlier. even though its drying up now, i dont think ill chance it because of my cold. if it brightens up later in the afternoon, then maybe bank holiday monday might be a better option. Chai give me a text if gonna ride late afternoon because ive lost your number. gonna watch grand prix now so i wont be out till around 3pm weather and my cold permitting.
  15. just checked into my local netcafe after watching the Monaco Grand Prix qualifier. the fact that lewis hamilton qualifed second on the grid may temp me to stay in a watch the race tomorrow, esspecially with heavy rain expected in london. just spent the early hours of the morning getting some great pics of two southeast london locations. not enough to put on the forum because the grey skies, but when i get everything done, novice and class riders are gonna be blown away by this stuff. just got figure how to upload these pics on this site. personally these pics would look better with a rider on this stuff but cant have everything right. as for tomorrow weather permitting, lets just meet at the usual place, then ill just escort everyone there. gonna log now as ive got stuff to do and sort chain tension on my A1 for tomorrow.
  16. Guess i cant lure you away from central london to the south east. unless youve got another excuse to not check it out. There is a nice challenging spot at Elephant and Castle, 30secs from the tube station. tim has seen it. let me know by tomorrow. basically a mini trials version of stonehenge. if you dont fancy it you can always ride back to the same old, same old, same old spot.
  17. £45 for a frame powercoat! where can i get that?
  18. Hmm, im surprised that ChrisX, wasnt up for that ride as that is his current residence/home town. come to think of it, there are a number of riders that live in, or near kingston. Oh well, its past tense now.
  19. When are you likely to hit london this week? apart from sunday which im unlikely to do with the grand prix coming up. send me a text. 07905519145 in case you forget.
  20. Awesome editing very creative.

    Akrigg

Id be keen to know how he and Danny Mac did at the BikeBattle event. As for that monster wall akrigg is trying to get over, why doesnt he build a bigger pallet ramp/tranny as he is coming up a few feet short of wall lip. then when he can make that, he can drop the height of the pallet ramp by say 10ins a time, then see if can make that height. thats what i would do.
  23. love the colour, just not large front chainring. damn, how big is that front-disc 8ins or more?
