Powerful, effortless riding . My only gripe is Neil hitting alot of his usual local stuff (stuff that weve seen from his Zoo vids). would love to see take on some big tech stuff in various parts of london, specifically some southeast locations. but i know how busy nezz is these days. good news is that auturm is nowhere to be seen this month.

Didnt see anything unique from R.L , though he is currently working on some ultra tech stuff (not in this clip) for his latest vid. so much so, he recently tweaked his neck during his attempts. T.O impressed me with his urban riding.

smart move dude

thats because your crazy and dont believe in body protection. or in your case, body preservation! On another note, get your girfriend a lid and body protection because she wont be looking so pretty in bed if she stacks it on those rocks.

Improved strength-to-weight ratio, less alien looking with this hydroforming business.
-
Guess that means youll be hopping 70ins within the next 2weeks time . still 35ins is still pretty good going for someone just learning it.
-
Whats the point! its literally a rim brake. todays rim & disc brake systems do more than enough of a good job at stopping you dead in your tracks. this is one extreme gimmick gone way too far . but hey it works.

Depends on your physical strengths/weakness ie; are tall enough and strong enough to handle a 26in rig(5ft 9in height is ideal enough for 26in bikes), or will you need to downsize to a 20in mod to start off. what assessible terrain do you have at your disposal to ride ie; Urban (generally found in an urban enviroment) or Natural (generally found in open park/woodland areas). best thing you can do before you make a choice is go and observe a group ride or checkout some video clips and see what style of riding appeals to you. if you have mates that ride, try out their bikes and see which feels good for you. TRIAL AND ERROR dude, trial and error.

Well i guess if the chances of us non comp riders have as much chance of riding this course as pigs flying, then we should at least have a london group ride going on the last day. question is if this does happen, will riders be able to bring their bikes into Earls Court and have them secured until the event closes. assuming riders are up for that and dont mind trekking to central london. otherwise ill try and some challenging rideable stuff near the exhibition centre on my days off work and post pics.

bumping this post for members interested in watching any form of recent mtb action.

Point taken. it takes time for certain things/happens to materialize. bmx had to wait 3 decades(30yrs plus) to get to this point of being granted olympic international status. ps, i stopped by Evans Cycles a few days ago and saw trials bikes in store (plus a few dedicated bmx rigs like Wethepeople). id never thought id see that...even though they are just trying to capitalize from generated olympic impact.

Well considering its the second day of the working week, chances are rather limited (TrialsnTrials/hugh.b rides that part of kent). Anyway chance of posting some location pics weather it be urban or natural. would probably increase your chances of generating members/riders interests. thats i am currently trying to do with the next london ride...whenever that happens! most riders right now would probably favour their local terrain in this basking hot weather

Pure comedy, in typical spode fashion

Er, which are the old pics and which are the new? just wondering because the first pic has no Adamant A1 sticker on the downtube, but the lower pics do. Nice rig anyway. guess you dont problems with motorists seeing you from a distance then
-
Ash is right, you need to bolt-on a lower rise stem. no more than 15degree rise . that one looks like 20-25degree rise (one that would normally go on a 20in mod )
-
Give me a break, ive only had it since march-april. scratches are mainly on downtube, grip ends, new pedals are already scratched on the cages. you just cant see them on a 4mega pix camera . forks scratched, and a few extra tiny dents. gonna take 12months before the real battle scars appear visible on camera.
-
Same bike a few months on (hughs former bike). magnesium/echo wheelsets and law Moto-X pedals. oh yeah changed grips to black. the light turned a little dark with the right pic

Belwo pic had a big screen for non ticket holders. channel4 provided live coverage at 2:50pm. my mistake in posting these pics, trying to bunch them up together. more coming.
-
Managed to find one spot not cover by steward and police(southside near millenium village 300-400m east of the dome). although i could have went to the O2 Dome and watched it live on a MASSIVE screen (coverage provided by channel4 at 2:50pm). got some pics of the planes going through those 30ft inflatable pylons. awesome weather. Not the best of pics but enjoy anyway.

Very Alien looking (something from the forbidden planet). somehow i dont think its gonna increase his chances of beating his rival Kenny Balaey in the uci stakes even if hes very capable rider. i bet Vincent hates the way it looks but loves its ride.
-
Is this the same Darren whom rode a black Ashton your partner (Spode) in trials crime? damn thats weird for that to happen from 2ft . get well dude.

The usual riders invite only method if they are not busy training/competing/demoing/touring.

Bad news, some residential estates will have stewards to ensure that non residents cant get in, but reckon they cover the whole length of the thames on both sides. i mean its not gonna be a sellout with sunday finals expected to rain. yeah sorry, i got the dates wrong. its sat quailifer round with sunday finals. but as i said, expect rain. ill do my best to get some pics if i can. missed out today on watching the practice runs.

Well excuse me, but plenty of the comp riders had crashes galore in front of the public, so that health and safety excuse doesnt completely wash through. just build something technically challenging minus the skyscraper sized drops (5-6ft max drop is safe enough for us non comp riders). you can even assess each rider skill if necessary. just have one course for beginners and one course for us dedicated non comp riders with stewards observing us. this show should be about promoting the sport and not showing that trials is just only for elite riders. its no different to bmx. not every rider is gonna be the next Matt Hoffman or Jamie Bestwick, but they will be inspired to start from the bottom of the bike stunt skills table and work their way up to their comfortable level of progression. just get people participating by riding the bikes in a secure arena learning the basics of balance and control. have prize draw competitions to win a basic trials bike. surely you can see that is not a bad thing! all you guys are doing is just entertaining people with something that looks amazing. you need interaction/participation which increases the following and makes the sport grow and hopefully get the same kind of support that bmx is gonna get in 2008.
