  1. I think we call all agree that if these brakes were the same price as HS33, they would sell like hot cakes. Very nice looking product but im not in a hurry to get one. ill just wait it out over the next 7-8 months like everyone else.
  2. Does anyone on this forum own a Middleburn hub(specifically the titanium model), and if so what are they like? Was on the US forum last week and viewed a pic of a cracked hope stem. lucky, the bars were still held together by the 3 remaining bolts.
  3. You cant get the magnesium V12/titanium axle combo as had to get mine as separate. and yeah the ti axle rrp is usually £50, so thats a bargain in my book. V12/ti combo would be more durable. i remember when my local halfords made simular price errors on mtb gear in the past. fully kitted up Kona/Stinky for £100, and some mtb dvds at 99p. Naturally we bought out the stock before they realised the price error
  4. nice video but you need to relax more on the bike. only hop when you need too. otherwise some good lines there mate. cheers rudi Yeah ill second that comment
  5. 25-27psi. any lower psi and you cross onto more technical natural riding, any higher would put towards street for rolling, spinning, jumping stuff. your bodyweight makes a difference as well. trial and error is the general thumb rule.

    Trials Dvd

Whats the latest update on this vid happening?
  7. Dont sweat it, just an oversight on the R&D front. im sure that when you guys develop the 2nd generation tensile headset, the headset cups will be high as the ChrisKing steelset that press a full inch into the headtube, that would be the perfect funtional trials headset. guess we all just gonna have to watch this space!
  8. 23lb and you want it lighter! do some trials specific free weights training to increase your riding power. if you cant hold your bike out with one hand, arm stretched, then your weak dude. focus on increasing your riding power which is far more important sheding weight off a bike thats light enough. my old OnzaTrex is 27lb and when i tried out Ryan Leechs bike at CycleShow 2006, i couldnt believe how heavy the thing was yet look at what he can do on it. broke the sidehop record on it last year. thats power and technique for yah.
  9. Im still dumdfounded as to how a hub made from a solid billet of machined alu can just snap clean. would be interesting to see the science behind that like on CSI (Crime Scene Investigation). the last time i rode with you in london, you were using a red Pro hub, how come you switched to Pro2. or im i confusing with your trials comedy partner on the black Ashton? i forget his name.
  10. Damn thats unfortunate to happen to Antonio, esspecially working in a dangerous environment where english language/comunication is a MUST for ones own safety. anyway to cut the long story short, i can help out with some cash though im working throughout this weekend till tuesday. call/text or pm me so we can arrange to meet up and i can donate the cash to you in person.
  11. Wow! if these rims are lazer cut, then the stress on these rims shouldnt be any greater than any trials specific rims because lazer cutting is least stressful than drilling. and im sure though not certain, that these rims are put back the oven for heat treatment after being lazer cut. because as we all know that when you manipulate with alu either by twisting, cutting, or shaping the material, you to put the finished product back in for heat treatment so that the alu molecules return to its original strength integrity. Cool looking rims. i reckon it wont be long before someone makes a rim tape containing leds(Light-emitting-diodes) to light up your rims at night. now how cool would that be!
  12. When did Kenny.B make the switch to Monty then, and will he have a signature frame out? not that he needs one with the awesome bike skills he demostrates on youtube.com.
  13. bought one last week from Supercycles, and boy is this thing light. a bit worried about the headset cups not fitting deep enough into my Adamant A1 headtube and preventing ovalization. oh well, too late to start worrying about it now as ive bought it and may as well use it.
  14. Nah those arent it. these funn rims are black with lazer etched writing on the super massive 25mm sidewalls. YES 25MM triple boxed rim construction. Massively strong but weigh a ton! availiable in 36h and 48h. about £30.
  15. that one hell of a lot of drops to put 07 rims like that out of shape.
  16. The black bike that Akrigg uses in Earthed3 and Trials Noir is the mongoose trials. the silver bike is a Charge trials prototype which will never go into production. the mongoose trials rig is kinda old skool geometry, short, high seat tube height though akrigg rides it like a beast. just like any other bike he rides.
  17. Oh my god, what kind of rough riding did you put these rims through? and to think im having a pair of 07 echo built up by tarty on april 18th.
  18. Oh my god! this guy kills it with his wheelchair skills. guess it wont be long before he hits a half-pipe ramp and starts throwing down 540 airs
  19. if its strength-2-weight ratio on 36h then its Mavic D521 aka EX521. if its trials specific then its Echo 2007. if its bombproof then its Funn 2006.
  20. i think the title makes a valid point that trials is dead in some parts of the world.
  21. ALL VIDS SHOULD BE MADE LIKE THIS! just click and view. picture quality is usually good for youtube.
  22. I viewed this product on tarty web last week, but it wasnt availiable to buy.
  23. Just viewed the teaser on youtube. Oh my god, oh my, i must buy buy buy.
  24. --> QUOTE(danny B @ Mar 20 2007, 01:27 PM) ←sorry old ashton wasn't my cuppa and the new one don't do it for me either dated design very two years ago sorry ali prefered the mbk to that and after all this time all that changed was a few dimensions not impressed sorry tarty bikes ***Isnt it funny how most of us today take the modern trials geometry for granted, yet we all hated the original Ashton justice when it first appeared on the trials scene. love it or hate it, we all have to agree that the justice made the most significant leap to revolutionizing trials geometry.
  25. So your foot wasnt busted enough to stop you riding then?
