The most useful tools are 4, 5 and 6mm allen keys. You can do most of the maintenance with those, so you should be all set already! Some other tools that come in handy swapping bits over are a chain tool, crank extractor, bottom bracket tool, and perhaps a headset rocket. That's roughly the order of most useful, too.

I think mods have 19" wheels because of tyre size - If you had a massive 20" tyre the tyre might rub and it would raise the chainstay. The idea of a 19" wheel is so that once you add on the 2.5" tyre, the wheels have roughly the same circumference. It's not as much of an issue on stocks because of the proportions of it.

I'm watching Sherlock and Firefly at the moment. Firefly is quite cool, it's a Joss Whedon show, which is basically a space western. The crew are a bunch of people who generally transport things around for money. There's a fair amount of gun-toting action in it, and some spaceship stuff. Fox killed it after episode 14, which is a bit of a shame.

It's definite and indefinite article. A is for a group of things, a thing that's not precisely specified whereas the is for something specific, where you're referring to only one of a thing. When you're using 'a same thing' and 'a same day', it's pretty much guaranteed that you want to use 'the'. That's because you're looking at a specific day or thing. Especially when talking about 'same day'. You're talking about a specific day when four were wounded and another soldier was killed.
