  1. and you have to prove your set-up to be 'knarly' enough to warrant the black and yellow grip tape...only the most extreme cases allowed...
  2. Also...it is down now . I think it was a good resource that was underused. It didnt take much to add spots to it either.
  3. Our demo rig is just black paint mixed with sand. get it done. chicken wire is a good option too. Although wouldnt like to fall on that....
  4. Adam Read in 'getting slack with his measuring tape shocker'
  5. i assume by 'later' you mean 'I'm on it now Ben, your wish is my utmost priority'...
  6. ....cos youtube is awesome.... EDIT: also doesn't want to work on my phone on copyright grounds in my country...#scottishindependencewreakinghavoc
  7. Been some nice wee updates on there since Ian's interview. I liked the one you wrote on the phone mark. Very jealous as I sit here in an ivory tower using MS word to cover over the bmx and trials videos I am watching. I am very much looking forward to the Inspired video from Barca, and hope that my weekends and evenings free up a little more to get some riding done. However I think I need to start shooting more pictures...it has been far too long since I took any photos on my DSLR, nevermind of trials. I am going to put more effort into that. Keep the blog going! More pictures please!
  8. LUL...wuuuuuut Vimeo Video -> Original Video
  9. Trialsy freecoaster would be sweet. fakie manuals look so much better on a coaster
  10. Very much agree ali. His style on the bike is all but gone. I am all for progression and improvement in the sport, but not if it means making it look sh*t. Vinnie is going big, but my word its not pleasant on the eye.
  11. You wouldnt think it possible that original lines could be ridden in Unit 23.... You'd be wrong... Vimeo Video -> Original Video

  13. Really not sure about that as the use of profile hubs / king bmx hubs seems significantly lower than yesteryear! the influx of reasonably reliable FFWs seems to have taken over....
  14. hahaha. i laughed at the shoes as well. Good riding Joe. Some beasty up to fronts
  15. that was definitely one of the best videos of Benito. The lines after the rail hook gap were just ridiculous
  16. a little something in the post about 10 mins ago dave
  17. Never worry about being too young to do anything Jake. I thought I wanted to be an architect, did four years at uni , then three years working in that career. At 25 I decided I'd made a mistake, given my location, and 5 or so years later I am coming to the end of my Part time Mechanical Engineering Degree and have a reasonable career as a project engineer in the oil and gas industry. Hind sight is wonderful, but if you don't act on your impulses you WILL regret it when you are older because things start to get in the way as you get older (bills / mortgages / hobbies / love life (GAAAAAAAAAAYYYY) etc) and is more likely to stop you doing things. You are 19, not 50. Get yourself signed up on that course and get it done after* you finish your level 3 in the cars course. It might** be the best thing you have ever done... * I say after because, you might as well complete it. They can't take it away from you once you've done it. **I cannot guarantee it will be the best thing you've ever done. You might hate it, but, I can almost guarantee you'll look back with regret if you don't do it.
  18. Dave - I am sorry bud, been in the library in isolation the past wee while. im going to get something sent to you ASAP - (will look it out tonight. I have something in mind). Sorry again for the delay. ta ben
  19. Jack's power is incredible. Both guys riding well
  20. Should have got your abs out for the camera's dave...Guy would have loved that. "Jeeeeeeeeesus....wept" or something like that
  21. It doesnt seem to have the same bite / hold power that the M810 has from my experience. I also saw some of the new design caliper (with the fins) having problems with cracking (not sure why this happened, but my calipers have lasted since the day I got them over two years ago (touch wood)) I also think that the fin design on the caliper is to allow more air to enter into the pad 'area' in order to dissipate heat better. Trials doesn't need heat dissipation in most cases. Also looking at the caliper there are four bolts holding it together on the older model compared to two, this might do something to compromise on strength. vs. In regards to the lever. It just doesn't pull as nice as the older style. Just my opinion that one though.
