  1. niconj has a point right there. Although on chain reaction levers and caliper set would still set you back ~ £260...which is almost the same that should be expected to pay for a saint pair
  2. M810s are the best disc brakes for trials imo. They work amazing straight out the pack, however getting a hold of this version can be difficult and they are certainly a little heavier than most brakes. I've heard of quite a few people having bad experiences with the newer saint brakes and I disagree with bings statement about those brakes being 'just as good', but that is an each to their own moment i guess.

    New Tattoos

Lose the rope ali (I know its not the final design) but I think it doesn't fit as well as the rest of the items you've described. I'd put something on the right hand side that sticks out as far as the at on the left. Could the arcade logo be a little bigger to match the voddie bottle? Or vodka bottle to match the arcade size? I actually quite like it and I'm not a tat person at all

    Films!?

Went to watch American Hustle last night. An enjoyable, easy watch film. Not a classic, but there is side boob left, right and centre so all you wee pervs can get your fix...
  6. More please...is that redbrick spot in london??? i think i need to put aside a weekend in summer to get down there for a ride...
  7. if you can get a property in aberdeen at 60% the price Greg you'd be STUPID not to....the rental market (especially in that part of town) is so darn lucrative that you'd make it back in no time. If you can prove in the future that you have guaranteed rental on the folks house, then you look to buy yourself in the future then so long as you have a decent deposit you should struggle. RICH b*****d!!!!
  8. While I don't think you sold it very well there Nick (and i am probably about to do the same for my job), I would imagine that could be a pretty interesting career. I work as a project engineer in the oil and gas industry, dealing with, amongst other things, the commissioning of subsea pipelines. This is after I had already tried to start my life out as an Architect...but gave it three years before i couldn't go any further with it. I couldn't stand the thought of drawing another house extension on CAD...
  9. You enjoying it as much as I am mine dave? I must admit with the little brown touches it does look decent
  10. 11. Maybe best to get in touch with martyn and ask what he wants. If he was anything like me he would be too proud, but i can't even imagine the costs being incurred to help martyn adapt to the life he now faces.
  12. Chris akrigg put a pretty decent post up on his FB today and I think it's worth a read considering the comments about charities or similar in this topic! https://www.facebook.com/AkriggChris/posts/582221801847649:0
  13. first world problems highlighted right here...jesus...
  14. HOLY SH*T BALLS THAT WAS JUST AS GOOD AS THE MAIN EDIT....
  15. Hows the footage from April-ish coming along Mark....how about a left-overs video...no music just footage rammed together. You know its the right thing to do....
  16. Definitely recommend using tennis racquet grips over the roadie bar tape you get. Generally less expensive (1 racquet worth did both sides of my bar easily), and a much longer lasting compound in my experience. You'll get them at a sports direct (other shops are available) so they aren't difficult to get hold of....

  18. Its more my impatience mark, sent on standard delivery, collected on Thursday, I'd have assumed it'd be today at the latest though! My other issue is with the misfortune I can't just drive to dundee to collect it when I miss the delivery because of work. nevermind...maybe they'll just leave it in the back garden. you get yir mucky paws aff my bike matty boy!!
  19. Somewhere in middle Scotland is the bike i've anticipated having the most in the whole time I have ridden trials....DAMN YOU TO HELL UPS...Y U HAVE NO DISTRO CENTRE IN ABERDEEN
  20. It seems that Benito got a distinction in the Advanced Bicycle Balancing Posture class taught through the Ryan Leech School of Balancing (RLSB) in that first picture.
  21. don't wanna break your wrists man...need them for alone time while you are injured via faceplant...
  22. Absolute hero...im so gutted for Martyn but I also really hope that he comes back! brilliant video though. Danny and Chris' appearances made my day. chris' smile when it shows him made me laugh...danny's fall on the ball...LOLZ
  23. I didnt have too many specific ideas, all i thought was to avoid the TF logo right in the middle of the chest or the back. i just think it'd look like a cheap and cheerful t-shirt then. My first thought was for someone to contact CLS or Sean W and see if either of them would like to put a bit of design work into making a TF t-shirt
  24. i am indeed sir. I think the slightly longer cockpit will suit me a little better. It'll be the first time i've had a full new bike in years (since i got an adamant IIRC). Excited is an understatement.
  25. glad you like it man. It served me well, so hopefully it'll do the same for you. Don't let it down, make sure you get discs on it. Nothing better then the feeling of a silent bike
