  4. Hello Justin, Sorry for the lack of contact, but the 3rd year of university is pretty hectic. I'd be more than happy to finish off the questionairre that you Emailed to me but I wont be in London for a while due to financial, time and temperature reasons. Apologies again, but any questions Email me at anaesthetic@hotmail.com and I'll do my best to answer them as soon as I can.

Ha ha, that music is better suited to footage of a nuclear attack not drop gap ater drop gap. Please don't use a similar song for your video. You had 19 seconds of black screen in a 48 second video. That's like 40% black screen! You all seem pretty good, so take your time when filming/editing and don't choose a crazy song.
  7. Check out FHM.com's 100 greatest games.
  8. 1. Please explain thanksgiving. 2. What is your zipcode? 3. Have you heard of Berklee School of Music? 4. What do you know about it? 5. Have you ever ridden at Skyline park in Denver Colorado? 6. Ever been asked for your 'John Hancock' instead of signiture? I have an English friend who's been living in Boston for a year, otherwise I'd have more questions. Thanks for your time.
  9. Sean, Ashton Steve, Dan Jones, Nick Manning, Aaron and Andy Green are all fairly local. I'm sure they'll find this thread soon enough. Bournemouth is a little wank in my opinion... Poole and Sandbanks are where it's at.
  10. That's just gymnastics as far as I'm concerned. People cream over this stuff, but they're just glorified parallel bar, beam and floor routines. The only free running I like is the big gaps and wall climbing stuff... 50% of the guys in London are worse than me. The big gap/drop at Euston was good though.
  11. We've all been there, except in the olden days it was 'whoever.biketrials.com' running off Stephen Maeder's different templates and colour options. The last thing you need is a links page, you need your site to look as good as you can which means no click here to enter screen, loads of photos and a few more videos. What software are you using? Front Page or Dreamweaver might option for you... Not wanting to shatter your dreams, but people don't really look at individual sites anymore. It's all due to Internet forum's bringing the community together in one place. People don't care what bike you ride and what bottom bracket you use, all they care about are photos and videos, and you'll be lucky if they can be bothered to follow a link to find them. Sorry to be so negative, but even riders who get bummed hard like Craig Lee Scott, will be lucky if they get 0.1% of the hits that trials forum gets. Grandad Stephen.
  12. Is there any chance that somebody else could put it on tv.isg.si for me? I'm STILL waiting for my password and account details from them. If not I'm on MSN - anaesthetic@hotmail.com
  13. Do you not have anything other than Trials-Forum in your life now that you've graduated?
  14. That happened to me too. Fat Mike linked me up with TmPeg but it wouldn't accept the uncompressed .avi straight out of Premier, but then when I followed the instructions here it worked like a dream, so I'm guessing that the settings you tweak slightly alter what files it will accept.
  15. That was the Tricks & Stunts ghetto park, and the tyres took a while to shoot but I agree it looks really good. One of the other sections with the big square plant pot was also in Tricks & Stunts, where the police are sat watching Ashton gap to the wall Tim starts off on. Stephen.
  16. Thanks for all the comments - all positive so far which is really nice. Chai's face for me was the best part of the video. What Matt is talking is that when we were in Colchester a truck full of gardeners stopped at the roundabout expecting Matt to do something, when he refused they did a full circle at the roundabout and threw a gardening glow at him... You had to be there, but Matt is vague so I'd best clear it up.
  17. Yeah the telepohne boxes are in Kingston, which is fairly good to ride if you know where you're going. It makes a pleasant diversion from Central London. Anyway, glad you liked the video.
  18. All done, thanks for the help Tomm. Oh and Mike, it was exported from Adobe as an .AVI file! Click me

  20. Right I've just finished editing a trials video in Adobe Premier 6.5. I've exported the movie as a .wav file and there it sits on my desktop, all 718mb of it. What is the best way to compress it and what file type is preferable nowadays? For the record I did put it into Windows Movie Maker and save it as a 40mb file, but the video had a irritating flickering at the top of the screen, a flickering that doesn't appear on the camera or in Adobe so I'm guessing that's a compression problem? Any help would speed up your viewing of the best trials video ever made... anyway I look forward to your help! Thanks a lot, Stephen.
  21. There aren't as many good videos as there used to be and yes people are spreading the footage a little bit thin, stretching two minutes of footage into a four or five minute video. I'd imagine most people just pick the song, and make the footage work instead of filming and then choosing a song that works. Anyway, I've been a bit of a moany twat in 'Sites, Vids and Pics' already so I'll stop myself now.
  22. It wasn't aimed at you as it happens, and I'm glad you're looking forward to my next video. I'll PM you to let you know when it's finished (Y)
  23. I was merely pointing out the need for a light, better music and a cameraman without elephantitus of the fingers. Just to clarify I thought it was a pretty good video, better than a lot of stuff (mentioning no names).
  24. Oh well, it's still 100% pointless however you try and justify it. The video was ok, same format as 99% of the videos out there. You could have crammed twice as much footage in there, or just chosen a shorter song and kept the editing nice and tight. The song made me want to die, and the lack of a light on the night shots was just annoying. Also for that thumb over the lens you should be shot... go back and film it again without your fat fingered friend, don't put it in the video and hope we wont notice. Anyway, good riding, pretty solid video.
