Yeah it was - the agreement was that the Capri would be inside the workshop with a cover (which my mate would buy me in exchange for using it once in a while). It's been outside with no cover since it first went there. I get the feeling it's been used most days by him and now other people who I don't even really know that well, so i'm a bit f**ked off. I've only got space for one car at halls, so i think i'll keep that here and the Landy at the workshop - not too fussed if that gets used (and to be honest, it probably wouldn't anyway).

Thought not! I wouldn't have cared if i'd been asked, but coming home to a mate of a mate telling me on facebook how much fun it was to drive the last night hasn't put me int he best of moods. It's insured for road risks only on a questionable trader's policy at the moment too so i don't really want it on the road. Think i'm gonna swap it for Bernard here at halls and stick him over at the yard instead.

Having previously only messed about with land rovers and stuff i'm quite happy to sit and enjoy all 140bhp of the Essex for a while - it's got more than enough go for me at the minute, i'd be backwards in a hedge within seconds if i put that 500bhp lump in it haha! Re; the fibreglassing, i'm pretty happy to travel around. I've got a place in mind but if that's not gonna work out i'll let you know what's up. Bled the brakes and did a bit of fiddling today, took it out for a drive after to get some photos. Thought i'd show you lot before i send them off to Pistonheads. Genuine '79 3.0 S Lightly tweaked engine, got a nice weber of some description, tubular manifolds and a full Janspeed system. Goes pretty well and sounds f**king amazing. PS; Robin - that RX7. Got how we are and the boy i used to be by bombay bicycle club on vinyl today. £16 the pair from the band and i've been saving up slowly to get them individually for £50 a piece when they rarely come up on record sites. Not so annoyed at my then-self for getting them digitally when they first came out now!
