  1. What are you after? It's still there, yeah.
  2. Something about the look of those 24s is just wrong, more like an offshoot of Ruption BMX than an apparently top-flight trials outfit. Do not want, but i'd be interested to see how they actually ride.
  3. I could definitely be very interested in those mate!
  4. Decent tyres on a budget, hit me. 205/50/15.
  5. Just sorted out some new headlights for the Capri (i've given up with my f**ked one) through another forum, turns out i'm dealing with trials_pimp/ Lee Mccaw of this parish. Small world! New parts are arriving too which is nice, -2" Leda springs out back and some coilover converted bilsteins complete with new hubs etc for less than £500 all in. Yes.
  6. Just went to the scrapyard local to me and found an RX7 FC and two NSX's (twice the number i've ever seen on the road!). What a waste.
  7. Why not? if it's rotten, it's rotten... Obviously don't smash the absolute shit out of it but still, needs a poke.
  8. look literally everywhere you can see and have a good poke about underneath, in the arches, inner wings strut tops etc etc etc... Load beds tend to rot (or all my friends with them have just been really unlucky) too so yeah, just go in with a screwdriver and an inquisitive mind.
  9. This is so good, it looks like Hannibal's mask.
  10. Did you miss the bit saying the girl was 14/ has a different surname to our Shucks'? She's all good if you're being serious, just got married and has a kid on the way.
  11. Someone else liked it and put a ring on it. Nice one McQueef, this is the best thing to happen to trials in years.
  12. That was sick and I miss this. Your old frame still at Clive's?
  13. If that's a question; they get old really quick. Great for being a lout though.
  14. I'm sure i could make that happen, cheers! Also, coilover spring rates vs standard - how do the two compare? Standard "hard" springs for capris seem to be around the 200lbs mark, yet a lot of coilovers are 300+. Do they have significantly less wheel rate or are people just loving the idea of smashing their spines?
  15. Did someone on here have some degree of arch rolling gear? Need to borrow that...
  16. Hi Matt, For the feature car we can supply at the following: Revolution 8.0 x 15 5 Spoke Classic in black with diamond rim @ £45.74 each Nuts to suit @ £0.25 each Carriage per two wheels @ £7.95 With best regards, Warren McKiernan Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for cheap awesome shit. EDIT: that Audi is bloody lovely...
  17. I can see your dick. Do not want.
  18. i love your attitude so much, i'd have been raging if that was either of mine!
  19. playing indietracks this weekend, our drummer has decided to f**k off to Derby and ignore us all week, his girlfriend's doing the same. shit.
  20. Mate of mine supercharged his 1949 Land Rover a while back (with an early 2l petrol a la all series one landies) Got it dyno'd today, 105bhp and 450lbft torque
  21. Pintos are cool, would feel like i'd down-graded the car going for anything less that 6 cylinders though Been thinking about Bilsteins, can pick them up pretty cheap and it's not like coilovers ever get adjusted after you fit them, i'm just weighing up whether the apparent improvement in ride is really worth it or if it's just placebo from people who've spent a tonne of cash on an expensive set up. Deck it! Would look awesome - really looking forward to following the progress on it. Get plenty of pictures!
  22. Literally just for the lols, Muel. It's all just ideas at the moment, to be fair i'd just be considerably better off saving that money for the pockets of Top Boss and getting two large turbos bolted onto it. I really, really like the idea of period mods but holy f**k they're expensive when you could just fit a BOA and have 220bhp for £500 and a bit of effort. The essex is fun for the time being though, i might just fit an LSD and be a hooligan for a while - who knows. I've got a loosely formed plan of attack in my head now, first up is still new struts/ rear springs and brakes - has to be done this month. Just had £1000 dropped into my pocket so i guess it just all comes down to what's best to go for. Hi-Spec brakes seem to be a good bet, better than pissing about with a Granada set up like some people do! Really looking forward to seeing the progress on the Pop though, not feel even a little bit guilty about chopping your childhood friend?
