  1. Reminiscing about this http://youtu.be/pCcTTIxaCQY I miss Barcelona so much. Also just finalising things for our gig in Paris, too excited.
  2. Loving the addition of the Reynolds sticker Grant and Joe have got it; as i understand Clive heats it and twats it out with a big hammer, same process when it comes to putting it back in (which could warrant a respray if you go for the heat route) If you can work it out for yourself then that's cool, if not i'll forward you Clive's number. He still does maintenance etc if you ask nicely, just takes a while...
  3. Was just about to post that very same picture! That's what it's all about for me, i'm one of the ones who only really keeps riding for the people sat round that fire (plus certain new recruits).
  4. Our mate from upstairs smashed a tile in our ceiling with a football last year (yeah) and one of my flatmates decided to pull the cover off the fire alarm when pissed. Unfortunately the two are both on the same tile, so when security came up to check why the alarm was telling them something wasn't right, they saw that and it looked like we'd just gona and smashed the shit out of it. I've had nothing to do with either incident so yeah, it'll be fun to watch certain people squirm a bit...
  5. £200 fine for our flat - sweet!
  6. Cheers mate Was pretty much as i thought. And yeah, proper square camera. I definitely wasn't 35 in a 30 or anything, but even if i was that's next to shit-all when it comes to speeding i guess; especially if it's pointing the wrong way. I also had a guy in a 1.8T A3 follow me through Worthing just to tell me the Landy was a "f**kin' sweet mota maaayte!", kinda funny haha.
  7. gatso flashing you front-on from the other side of the road = fine and dandy, right?
  8. I'd literally spray everything i own with that.
  9. Postal Service in may, yay.
  10. Ultimate arms, xtr carbon booster, xtr lever, xtr cable with a linear inner with heatsink reds (or pads of your choice) was a monster - so stiff on proper vee mounts.
  11. Not ideal! Try organising something to give your scene a little kick start? It's what me and Luke did with the 24Tour. One awesome week every year that i know for a fact keeps a lot of people riding who'd have otherwise quit, even if it is just for that and a few little jams here and there throughout the year.
  12. Just gotta find what works for you really mate! At best i'm average on the 24" - i can hold manuals, hop 360s occasionally, pretend to be Danny Mac a bit when i want to be and piece the odd line together. Not sure what the scene's like over there as far as real good friends who ride goes, but for me that's the reason i can't just pack it all in. I miss my friends, and even if i never get amazing on the bike it's that enjoyment of being out dicking around with them in various parts of the country is what keeps me coming back for more.
  13. I went and made sure my car was still there today. It was. Wiper's still broken and my mate's being a complete pain int he arse to get my two spares out of... Q'ue sera.
  14. Oh guuuuuurl you know da's right.
  15. Sort of in the same boat at the moment, especially the last bit about getting out of shape through not riding! Just take a break from the bikes and stay involved with the community, read up on things and stay informed - you'll be alright and the bug'll come back eventually, even if it is just going for a little roll around. As for being too old for street, you'd be surprised! Even just getting on something that's wholly different could do you a lot of good - and given how long you've been riding and your skill level i don't think you'd have any problem tweaking things and enjoying yourself on a different path! I'm just taking a full bike hiatus and trying to save money to build up something new for summer. Hopefully i'll have the time to ride it haha!
  16. Pretty decent - Mick Fleetwood's such a hero it's untrue. The whole making a joke out of the Citroen thing was annoying though, if it was legit i'd have been very interested to see how that works.
  17. I just fail to see how it'd be so hard to pop up saying "hey, here's some proof we're legit - laters" to silence everyone. Maybe that's just me and my non-business running mind though.
  18. Cool, well clean the rotor with meths and leave it to dry naturally, then sand the pads down. Should be alright!
  19. Do one. If you actually read it there are a few pretty valid points raised, it's not just your standard petty TF row over spoke nipples.
  20. Ahhh yeah, I remember those - never knew what happened to them haha. Do the NS have a homo-sized bar clamp though?
