Ta! So do I Standard 65 gauge string was too thin though.

1min 29? I got that too A lot of that felt beneath him, it looked like he had to make a video, not wanted to.
-
I think you're paying per colour for that.
-
But your bars are looking down.
-
I know what you mean, I always look at bar height, bb rise etc and just decide if it looks like I'll like it, I'm usually right. I pretty much guessed the first Skye geo before it was out & it was all a mystery.

Cheers! If anything I now see how much I've neglected my flatland/flow. Ridiculous video, good work!

This makes me question the point of me riding anymore.

Such a hard choice (inspired arcade news and info)

It works for me most of the time, but I'm single speed now and sometimes I do wish I had a harder gear. I think I just chose vertical because I'm still undecided on gear ratios and wanted the geo constant. The light gear is definitely crap for fakie stuff though. I'll go horizontal next time, it's definitely better looking, and now that chainstays and ratios are pretty established for 24" street it's less of a guessing game. -

Probably just in case then, it WAS the first one! But I don't think anyone actually put a shifter, cables and a mech on it, back ends are so short these days a shifting mech is bound to cause foot clearance issues too. -

To be fair, the hanger on an Inspired is for a tensioner, not a rear mech, I can't recommend a mech on a trials bike. The Trialtech tensioners are perfect. -

If you've already got vertical dropouts and a tensioner, adding 1 more sprocket's not really gonna spoil the look of the bike. I filmed one line last year where I had to go 3 teeth down because I needed so much speed, there was no other option, it's just handy to have for the sake of carrying around the weight of a small sprocket, instead of going home and saying "I couldn't do it, gear's too easy" It's personal preference too, not everyone likes 22-15, I've always had easy gears and probably always will. -

I think he means 2 sprockets on the freehub at once... -

Seats ain't heavy. It'd look pretty stupid without a seat. -

I'd love to try one, Since I changed my forks my geo is pretty similar to an Arcade apart from the reach/head angle, I know it'd feel totally different though. -

The geo ain't bad, it's basically a Skye. It's the tiny headtube I don't get, no one needs a headtube that small, and a seat angle so slack that you can't put the seat down with is pretty careless on a production frame. Their King of Dunce frame sounds much better. -
Na, but I'll check it. Saw book of Eli last night, that was really good. Saw Dead man down recently too, that was brilliant.

Yeah that "K Fried C" stuff near the end made me cringe a bit, and I had no problem watching all 3 Hostel films....
-
I did this for a while, a Trialtech tensioner works fine & has enough adjustment on the pin to have a fat chain on 2 different sprockets. Takes 30 secs to change the gear with a 4mm allen key.

Hope rotors might be slightly thinner than the Shimano it was meant for, maybe not, but different brands definitely vary a few fractions of a mm. Try taking the wheel out, pull the lever really gently and only slightly, so the pads just move a tiny bit closer together, keep trying the wheel on until you find the right lever travel. That's worked for me in the past, just make sure you NEVER pull the lever in all the way with no rotor between the pads. I've found Shimano rotors the best, I use the old style 203mm XT (no spider) on my M810's and they're perfect. I found Avid rotors pretty decent, especially the Roundagon one that came with the old BB7. I think they were a touch thicker than Shimano, might be the other way round though. I found Hope rotors a bit less great, no idea why, but Shimano served me best, then Avid.

Yeah, that was so weird & unexpected that it became great! Anyone seen Killer Joe? I don't really know how to describe it...

Indeed, plus...Ryan wouldn't have had 15 odd years of Marzocchi sponsorship if he'd used a rigid fork, even if he preferred using rigids, he made money from using suspension. It just added to the mtb look and obviously worked in mtb mad Canada. It wouldn't give you any more/less success these days.
-
I was not aware of that! Don't suppose they'd ever know though. He might use a 203 now, but he told me once he chose 180 over 203, then again his frame will outlast several Zoots!
-
That! Reminded me of Ryan Leech!
