Transporting a bike to Oz.. Cargo or Baggage?
bikeperson45 replied to Joe Sheehan's topic in Chit Chat
I flew British Airways and paid an extra £60 for mine. I went with the ask a shop for a bike box option and used that with some padding in. I packed it so it was solid and no damage was done, so I’d personally go for a box over a bike bag. -

I feel like a lot of people don't get that this style of social life isn't a necessity for university. You don't have to do any of those things you don't like. I'd say find the stuff you do want to do, try and find a club (which is possibly the best thing about uni's because those societies aren't that common anywhere else) and build your social life around those things instead of attempting superficial drunken pussy slaying. And I wouldn't put too much weight on the best three years of your life thing. I didn't want to go to uni and I'll admit I have a much more limited social life because of it so you do have that going for you, but the idea that people seem to try and live up to what they believe and hope to be the highlight of their lives is depressing. If you like physics and want to work in physics and are prepared to suck up the maths aspects you don't like then definitely do the work and make sure you get that degree and when you're not working just do the fun stuff you want to do instead of trying to fit in with expectations. Sounds like your problem just comes down to trying to find the right people you want to hang around with.

Just got back. It's very good, I'd say better than the first but I thought that first was just kind of 'yea it was good'. My complaints are too much action and one liners, although the action is great. And Ultron's the first good Marvel villain.

The plot felt really scattered for me, more like a TV series. Final scene with the Joker was really great though, live action version would incredibly creepy.

First thing I did was make sure tit's legally binding Thanks, money's good but leaving the people's better.

Hostels seem to be very either good or bad. I've had to sleep on the floor of a post office and wake up before the employees came one time and that was preferable to some hostels I've seen.

Got my new contract and the salary is silly, little less then doubled. As much as I’m happy I feel like it’s going to be tough for me to justify that but I won’t point that out. Still in a state of stunned chuffed.

Definitely have a new job, even if it's just the department over. I knew they'd had 17 internal applicants because people are scared of 'restructuring' so there's been a few bitchy comments along the lines of the twenty year old with a years experience getting the job over some of the others but I know I can do the job so don't even care. And it's my bank account the money's going into Although the new departments on the verge of a civil war over the opening of a window but at least I'll no longer be learning about woman's period flows and their consistencies.

It would have been helpful if you'd edited it so each clip played three times to save me continuously rewinding

Please bring big gaps to rear back, you may be the only one who can.

Not completely lose-lose though, they'll have something to put on a CV at least. Money and something to talk about in an interview is definitely something gained even if else where there's more to gain.

Yep, it's impossible. Vees are cheaper than custom forks...
-
Yep Two injuries though, it's the months of waiting in between to get a scan or results that add it up, or being referred to physio which is pointless most of the time. I've started video 4 and then had to stop four times now which is a fun fact.

I hate the day in the life thing just because I have a pretty good idea of how he lives, now I know he pays for parking and eats. Was a little surprised to see he sleeps with his face covered though. Decrease douche edit - Great riding though but I knew that as well
-
Have to wait up to six weeks to find out when my knee scan'll be, which could then be up to two months away from then. Not supposed to ride during that time so looks like I might miss my forth summer to ride. So gay

Thanks, that's it. You've given me great relief.

I'm trying to remember a thing from a movie, the thing being something where a man does something and (I think) the father follows him making the guy feel guilty. Man can't take the guilt so goes to kill himself and as he does so the father is also killing himself the idea being that he'd follow him to hell to continue tormenting him. I think someone tells this story in the movie and my internet history is now covered with the word suicide so help me TF, it's driving me crazy.

Having been in the cashier's position, you're the worst kind of customer Obviously it's annoying for you but you're asking someone to risk their job, there really are people going around to make sure that stores do this. When I did it over in America the law in NY is ID everyone, so I had to refuse to let a woman buy wine who was in a wheelchair with an oxygen tank so at least we have it a bit better over here.

If this was a half hour go out see what happens if wasn't horrible. Crux and Manifesto though

Doesn't sound like you actually know what the problem is yet though? Arthroscopy is a pretty basic thing with a pretty minimal recovery time but it sounds to me like before you get an MRI you're not going to be too sure about what actually needs to be done which will completely change the answer you'll get. Having been in your position I'd say stay away from looking at stuff on the internet before you completely know what your specific problem is. And hopefully you won't have to fly to Canada and pay a surgeon in cash and help with the drilling of your bones
