  1. 90-95mm. Should be all right, just might not be able to use the whole life of my pads.
  2. I want to put some normal mtb rims on my new Ashton Justice build and I need some opinions. So far, for a rear rim, I have been looking at these http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_rear_rims/dmr_deevee_26_inch/c25p11799.html and these http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=76081 Any opinions of those? Or does anyone have any recommendations? Budget of £30 give or take. And any recommendations for a cheap and cheerful rim for the front? Front rim doesn't need a brake surface, so can be disc only.

Seen it now and thought it was brilliant. I would give it 8.5/10
  4. I have recently built up an ashton justice as an all rounder after getting a bit tired of switching between my 2 bikes all the time. I have had an ashton before so I knew it was a safe choice for a "in the middle" bike with the right setup. I did want to try a hex or get a tweaked hex like custom frame made, but patience and money wasn't on my side.
  5. You have failed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 12 out of 24 (50%) Time taken: 05 minutes 06 seconds

Looks good. If you want to sell the hex frame when you get your marino, then give me a shout. I have wanted a hex for a while now and would be interested.

it's not total shit. it's very watchable, just not his usual high standard.

It seems to be getting high praise on IMDB. Tarantino is in my top 3 movie makers and I am so looking forward to seeing this film. I hope I like it more.
  10. Hope have some video about setting up brakes on their website. http://www.hopetech.com/page.aspx?itemID=SPG371

    Q for film buffs.

Yes, above about the IMAX is right. Most of the dialogue scenes were in 35mm because IMAX cameras are to noisy. And then there are shot that are impractical for IMAX cameras as they are also very big and heavy. The dark knight bluray was the same (shifting between widescreen and 16:9), but not as many scenes were done in IMAX.
  12. Has Rowan not made a new video in a long time or have I just missed them? I do love his riding.
  13. It has the potential to be really, really good. The lag problems in online is killing it for me though at the moment. Occasionally my bullets will actually work and I do really well, but 80% of the time I will will fire a full magazine into an enemy and get virtually no hitmarkers.
  14. I have always wanted an edd tongue. The second one is pretty close to perfect, apart from the re-weld and a few details. The only thing I would really want to change on it in a hurry is the TNN bash for a middleburn one.

I had a play in pc world yestarday and I like the look of it, but it is an absolute b*****d to navigate on a pc. Constantly moving the mouse all over the place just to do the simplest of tasks and all the option are hidden, hover over to appear. And I don't like how the apps are completely separate to the desktop. For example, internet explorer. It felt really slap dash and I really don't think microsoft thought it through. I don't see how they didn't notice these problems when they were testing it. It's like they totally forgot their biggest market.
  16. Troy lee designs XC gloves are the only gloves I have ever been happy with. They tick every box. Feel nice, cheap, very durable, look good and they keep your hands warm.
  17. I really hope he does get some Danny Mac like exposure. I think it is over due and he deserves it. I also really want Martyn to do a decent video like this on his hex or another trials bike.
  18. I would try a new bleed and give the pads and rim a good clean. Then maybe try playing with the booster set up, like taking it off or trying a 4-bolt booster if you have one. And obviously make sure the pads are hitting the rim dead square, just a little off makes a huge difference on smooth rims I find. I am running Heasink yellows on a smooth rim at the moment as I just built the wheel and couldn't find the grinder and it is pretty darn good.
  19. I haven't even heard about this. The only news I follow regularly is local news.
  20. I would personally try what Duncy and I have suggested before you start modifying things.
  21. It Looks like an inspired skye that got shrunk in the wash. I envy his skills :/
  22. I have seen similar setups with people using just one snail cam on the driveside and levelling up the other side by hand.
