  1. Which bike was that? I had my Rockman Slate 3 down to 8.4Kg relatively easily. (weighed properly with Park Tool bike scales)
  2. I think you forget that some riders don't want to use their bike for anything other than trials. I almost never ride street, I pretty much exclusivly ride natural as thats what I enjoy riding.
  3. I'm SO bored of this f**king subject. Some like it, some dont. I can't ride with my bars at a stupid angle, but Onza rider Joe Seddon who's only 5' 8 is really getting on with it (admittedly his aren't as extreme as Carthy's) Surely that's it
  4. I'll admit, they look a bit garish when new but once worn in for a month or two I really like the look of them. The grip, fit and protection are by far worth it though - I hated the Adidas shoes
  5. They are expensive, and you need to cut the tread off the pedal area but once bedded in the Salomon Speedcross shoes are amazing. For me the best part is the heal protection they offer. Also, as the heal grip is so aggressive, you reduce the risk of a foot sliding out if you are jumping back onto wet grass/grevel etc
  6. Tell him to stop being a harsh fanny and pump his tyre up then
  7. Also, nice oily chain just above the disc? Mmm nice
  8. That bike will flex a hilarious amount
  9. Balls to spending £22.99 on some stripper. Get down your local industrial estate to a blasters. I got my Onza Genesis frame and forks bead blasted last week for £18.00 Droped it in one day and picked it up the next - looks mint, no pitting at all Ideally you want to get it soda blasted - its the least aggressive of the blasting types available. Put bolts in all the threads, knock in an old headset and put an old BB in it.
  10. Haha, right foot forward only. f**k you leftys!
  11. Joe Seddon's has Carbon forks, Ti bb, Ti bolts, light tyres etc etc and even thats still 8.14Kg
  12. If thats a deng rear freehub, you need to loose it ASAP. Other than that it's a nice build, i'd run a higher front end though - for sure
  13. Repost dude: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/179688-sick-czech-vid-all-we-together/
  14. Corn snake for sure, my brother used to have one years ago - that escaped too!
  15. Yeah man, the mod rider was so smooth.
  16. Trialtechs are tough as anything. They are indeed currently prototyping some SL forks - Andrei has been riding his for a while now Here are the set on Kenny's new GT
  17. Andrei has been running a set for around 5months now. I had a good look over them again on Sunday while a bunch of us were at his warehouse and they are still holding strong - no signs of stress yet
  18. So game for this trip! Buthiers is a must. Would like to also visit the new K124 land trials park and 'The Cave' that Gilles has done a few videos from. Barcelona would be cool, always wanted to ride the trials parks there. I know that alot of the Spanish coastline is pretty sick. I'm sure that Drei knows of a load of sick places to ride
