  1. Sorry to hear about the wrist, heal up soon, take care
  2. My bike hasn't arrived yet but for the front brake cable, I've ordered one of these velcro straps instead of using a ziptie: https://www.sourcebmx.com/products/wethepeople-cable-holder-strap?variant=20033441366127&utm_source=google&utm_medium=ppc&utm_campaign=UK+-+Shopping+(UK)&utm_content=Wethepeople+Cable+Holder+Strap&gclid=CjwKCAiAv9ucBhBXEiwA6N8nYKYA8rHm82ZrCsxbaQC8XepXurEGbyW7JkgOxfG10OXZNyglvOhtNBoCL9wQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&currency=gbp
  3. Nice to see another TMS in the group and another lover of steel frames!
  4. Nice to see more riders from Aberdeen. I'm just away to get back into trials, just waiting for my bike to arrive and will be looking for folk to ride with
  5. I've been chatting to my brother-in-law about Rox and he said they've started up again! Stoked! https://www.bike-ninja.co.uk/rox/?fbclid=IwAR3raVRdIjTfARt-no91CLF-mo8o6xbubJ2Y0i2PHCDHVStwcSH25I-TVwY

I picked up a copy of MBUK magazine for the first time in a long, was cool to see Mint Sauce is still going. Brings back good memories. Does anyone else remember Rox? Whatever happened to them?
  7. Possibly, if you look on the TMS shop, the black clear 24" has an integrated headset, the blue 24" has standard press fit. Makes me wonder if there are any other differences between them: https://www.tmsurbanshop.com/454-frames?q=Marque-TMS Fingers crossed my Silex 24" will be with me this week
  8. Looks very nice, enjoy! Interesting that the 26" has an integrated headset, from what I have seen, the 24" is standard press fit.
  9. haha I never thought about that to be honest, I just know he's a well respected rider and not always rode brakeless. I used to ride bmx brakeless but I personally don't see the attraction to brakeless trials, hats off to riders like Flipp that make it work though.
  10. I'm away to get back into street trials, just waiting on my new TMS Silex 24" to arrive from FXN. I had started collecting a few parts as was wanting to build an Alias 20.2 but after being messed about trying to buy a used frame, I was offered the TMS I picked up a set of Avid BB7 180mm with some linear bmx cables and Flipp recommended these organic pads: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/192691578886 Really looking forward to getting back into it, my bike should be arriving next week all being well.
  11. Looks awesome, nice work! The Leech was one of my favorite bikes.

Thought I'd share this edit of me, it's the first time I've had a go at editing, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.
  13. Really enjoyed that, good solid riding What camera did you use? Looks good!
  14. Nice wee edit, is that a 360 x-up at the end? Or 360 barspin?
  15. Hey, I just sent the email again, let me know if it worked, cheers, David.

  16. And takes alot of skill to ride with brakes too
  17. Where do we get to see you do these demo's? More on topic, I ride brakeless bmx and love it, I would say it is deffinatley only for some people as it does take time to get used to it, you really learn how to use your body, use every bump, curb etc as you can learn to "pump" into lines on "anti-pump" to slow your self down. I'm not against brakes at all, they're just not for me anymore. Different people have different riding styles where brakes or brakeless suits them and as long as they're having fun that's what its all about.
  18. Good post. Amazing riding from the pair of them. I agree about the comment about Ashtons riding being over-looked. I grew up watching Ashton in the likes of Chain Spotting, Tricks and Stunts, ahead of his time in both those videos. This is one of the reasons why I'm supporting the Diamonback Ashton brand and bought an Effect.
  19. I've been looking at getting another 24" and the 2 bikes mentioned are the ones I was in interested in. I have decided to go for the ashton with a few choice upgrades including middleburns, front and rear hope hubs, hope stem and headset. I basically wanted a bike that has the option to stick proper gears on it too; as in stick a rear deraileur on it at some point. I've been told it will arrive in about 2 weeks with all the extras I've gone for, can't wait!
  20. Cool, thanks. Just ordered that one off amazon
  21. I'm thinking about getting one of these. I've been looking at the ones they have in Chain Reaction Cycles. Which one would you reccomend? My link I'm thinking about getting one of these.
