  1. Just ordered myself some trialtechs, cant wait to fit them to see how they ride as they generally feel a nicer product than the viz, ashton and urban forks I've had in the past.
  2. I really hope I can convince the missus to let me go/come with me!

    Leeds Ride

I spent 3 months training in leeds a couple of years ago and other than spotting a few obvious bash scrapes (near steep steps leading to the station) I never saw an actual trials rider. Gutted as I was still out of the scene back then so seeing some riders would probably have got me taking my bike and getting back into it!
  4. I might have a play on Thursday afternoon, got a safety brief at Victoria station in the AM so gonna take my mod down with me if the weathers good to ride from the station

    Films!?

    Airheads, love it!
  6. Grease on the Isis mounts and take an 8mm Allen with you when you ride for the first couple of weeks as if they're both brand new the cranks won't fit fully on at first. They'll keep coming loose every 30mins or so and will need tightening up a lot till they fit on fully.
  7. Can't I'm on lates so won't finish till 9! Next time you guys go I'll try and get out though!
  8. Yes this is very normal. If you could just push them in by hand there would be no point in having a press.
  9. I use lgm's and hs yellows, both great on a grind
  10. Gutted I'm working, I only live 25 mins away!
  11. He was flying up some big rocks, your Adam was doing some good lines as well!
  12. I've been having a few problems with my back brake, when I pull really hard on the lever one of the pistons pushes itself through the clamps. It's a 2011 HS11, Echo TR clamps with a Trialtech 2 bolt booster and I'm pretty sure the clamps are done up so they're touching so won't go any tighter. Has anyone else had this problem with the same setup? Is it worth shaving a few mil off the end of the bolts holding the booster in case they're a bit too long and bottoming out on the frame?
  13. I'll definately be heading over to get there bout half 11 with one of my mates. Looking forward to seeing the place!
  14. This Saturday I think, that's when I'm heading over anyway!
  15. Shouldn't think so, that looks like the one I had with my Echo headset. Just needed tapping down onto the wider part of the steerer. Think there's only one size as all the headsets are 1 1/8"
  16. With the split in it should go down with a little force
  17. I'm deffo coming Saturday, what times everyone gonna be there? Think I'll get there for bout 11ish. Am I right in thinking you turn up past the station to get here??
  18. Quick vid from today, the first proper ride I've had on my new because simple and this is literally 2 minutes after getting on, and about 2 mins before the battery ran out on the camera! Oh yeah, as I'm sure with a lot of people I've not ridden properly since about November so I'm incredibly unfit and still a bit rusty!!! Needless to say I love the frame and it rides so much nicer and easier than my past few bikes!
  19. Or do what I did and just pull the pin out and stick a washer between the tensioner and the frame
  20. Google are doing the right thing though by having it open source so your not tied down like you are with iPhones and windows. Having had my 3G for 18 months I can safely say I won't be getting another iPhone, people keep saying get an iPhone 4 but if I did that I'd almost be stuck with the exact same phone albeit with better picture quality and a clearer screen. Though the main thing I look for is something I can use for entertainment for long periods like when I'm at work. I currently watch films on my 3G at work but the screen size tends to hurt my eyes and there's so much messing about to get them converted and loaded up onto it, I'll be far happier with an android I can easy run some oldskool emulators on hooked up to a wireless pad. I know this is possible with a jailbroken iPhone but I've been down that road and I wasn't impressed, it'll be far easier to do it on a phone where the app required is perfectly legal to obtain and doesn't require any extreme measures to get the games transferred onto the device which was a massive pain on the iPhone. Edit: I believe apple are working on the successor to the 4 due to the problems they had when it first came out. Whether it'll be the same kind of device with faster connections like some websites are suggesting I don't know but I think it'll take more than faster Internet and downloads to pull people in.
