    New Phone

Must admit the quality of camera on a phone has never really bothered me. Only really use it to take pics of my kids to send to grandparents or have as a screensaver, or pics of where I've been riding to refer to later on.
  3. Unless the LBS specifically deals with trials bikes I tend to avoid them to be honest.
  4. Just a standard ISIS BB by the sounds of it, have you measured the shell?
  5. If your using V's look out for either a shimano XTR booster or salsa carbon one, top class! And then get a grind and some TNN LGV's

Dont really need to as I get 30% off any contract at the moment with o2 and they're the only company I can get a signal with where I work so the only real choice!
  7. Mine does the same with my trialtech cranks, as does my because bashring on my stock. Never had a problem with either to be honest.
  8. I'm gonna knock up a poster with a quick explanation and pics of the difference so people see what the challenge about it all is. Not gonna be owt massive obviously but if I can raise even £100 for a local charity it's a bonus for them. Will be lookin for sponsors on here of course though!!
  9. Revolver your my hero, that site's fantastic! Just spent the past hour marking out the smaller of the 2 routes I'm considering and it turns out it's 10 miles all the way round, never seemed that long when I used to ride it years ago but it seems pretty respectable for a trail ride to be done on a mod. Just have to plan the other route now and see how that looks, though I reckon I'll do it at home as the network at work is SO slow!!
  10. I'm planning on doing a charity bike ride in the summer, not sure what charity I'll do it for, probably a local one, but before I confirm my plan I want to check how long the route is. So, can anyone direct me to maybe a program or website that will let me map out a cycle route so I can see how long it actually is? I've tried googling stuff but the only websites I can find only deal with roads so I can't plan the offroad sections and it would also help to be able to show people a map of the route I plan. Bearing in mind this won't be a massive coast to coast style ride, I just plan on doing a local trail on my mod with the gearing and lack of seat being the obvious challenge of the ride. Can anyone help??
  11. Or stick a disc mount on, that surely couldn't make the frame much more expensive to make?!
  12. I know windows doesn't like making fat32's above 32gb so try the instructions here and see how you get on! http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/formatting-external-hard-drive-to-fat-32/

    New Phone

Right I'm due an upgrade on the 26th so and have a couple of ideas of what phone I want but can someone give me any advice on what they're like if they have one? Looking toward either a Dell Streak, Samsung Galaxy S or HTC HD7 but can't decide between them. At the moment I'm leaning toward the dell but the size puts me off for taking it out when I'm riding and I definately don't want an iphone again as I'm sick to death of mine! Any suggestions.
  14. TNN all the way baby! Includes brake clamps as well and altogether only weighs 3g more than just the Trialtech booster and bolts!
  15. If I were you I'd just go for the Zoo, nothing wrong with starting out on a decent frame like that and they're considerably strong so you won't have to worry about trashing it! Oh yeah, I'm with you on the 26" Onzas as well!
  16. "Pedalling and braking and pedalling and braking and pedalling and braking" (Spoken in dodgy German accent ala Hans Rey)
  17. I learnt the oldskool Martins way by riding along slowly, pop an endo and as your rear wheel comes back down lean back onto it to start hopping. And then I just practised at it trying to do as many as I could without dropping the front wheel, eventually it became second nature though this was 10 years ago so there may be some better ways to learn by now.
  18. Out of interest why a bashring and a plate?
  19. I thought the same at first, looks like you've taken pics of your frame in a car park!
  20. National hub will mean it's been sorted to go to the right delivery depot, it'll get sent to your nearest depot then will probably be delivered the following day so I'd possibly expect it tomorrow. Depends on their backlog though.
  21. Cheers for the advice on frame selection Ali, ordered myself a Because Simple and splashed out on some TNN clamps/booster and 2011 HS11's with the spare money I had left over!

  22. Trialtech sport forged if I were you, well priced and quality cranks!
  23. I'd take a guess that people can't be bothered to disconnect a hose and rebleed the brake after, just leave it on the outside until the brake actually needs a bleed and then do it maybe??
  24. Thanks for all the advice boys, I think that after sleeping on it I'm gonna go for the new Because Simple. At 1090, 380, +35, 71.5 I reckon it hits a nice middle ground, its cheap enough to warrant me to buy some other bits and I don't really need to go mad on an awesome frame as I'm not challenging for the elite class! I did consider an Ashton but I don't think I could keep the weight down enough, still might swing to a new zoo if they've arrived by the time I order but if not I'll be happy with the because.
