  2. Yeah but I wanted to use the proper top cap to see how that does.
  3. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/24_inch_frames_135mm/because_simple_trial_24_inch/c70p11123.html
  4. Not sure about the full build but tartybikes stock the 24" Because frames, they could probably build a bike up for you.
  5. What kind of riding are you into, how much money have you got to spend and what kind of level of riding are you at??
  6. Any news on getting the wiki tabbed at the top of the homepage??
  7. No worries mate, just PM me with your details when you've sent the money and I'll get them posted asap!!
  8. Couldn't comment as I've never used them, only ever used Magura koolstops (which were good back in the day but pap now), heatsink yellows (which I find great except on a smooth rim in the wet) and TNN LGM's which are also great on a grind. If you want the washers gift Paypal me £1 to dbarratt6@aol.com and PM your address and I'll post a pair out tomorrow after work!
  9. Cheers son! Would have text you but couldn't remember if I deffo got it off you (was that long ago) and I lost a load of numbers when I changed my phone last week!
  10. Can anyone help, I've got an old Tryall stem on my stock with a sloping top cap but I don't know the geo! It's the one with a gusset on the top next to the top cap and the top cap has 2 opposite quarters machined out of it. I want to know as when I fit my new Trialtech forks I want to use the screw in topcap that came with them but this requires a new stem which will work with a flat topcap, can anyone help? I can't get pics at the moment as I'm at work but I'll try and get some up tonight or tomorrow!
  11. Just realised that myself, your current washer has probably been shaped by the clamps so everytime you tighten them up the clamps just sit into the groove in the plastic making them move. I've got a couple of spare sets from some brand new HS11's I bought that have never been fitted, can drop you a pair in the post if you wanna pay me postage??
  12. How old are your pads and what rims are you using? It may be worth ordering a new set of pads and some different magura clamps, heatsinks have a lot of material on them brand new, I have them on the rear of my mod and have to have the cylinders set as far out as possible and they're still really close!
  13. Whats your setup in terms of frame, freewheel. chain and rear hub?
  14. You might have the same problem as me, the bolts that came with my booster are just slightly too long so the clamps won't tighten up enough.
  15. Whats your setup ie. frame, rim, brake clamps, pads (and age of them)???
  16. In that case the chain will be 3-4 months old anway so about due a change if you did quite a bit of riding. As for the chain tugs I'd follow tartys snailcam guide anway but do it with the tugs ie. Tighten tugs so chain is almost touching the stay at the bottom when you squeeze together with your fingers There's always a loose point with a FFW so turn the cranks until you see the chain sag slightly then give the tugs another very slight tighten Adjust non drive-side to centre the wheel up I'd highly recommend a new chain before you do this though!
  17. Now I'man Android user thought I'd post a few of my apps. WiimoteController+Tiger GBA/NES/SNES+Emulator ROMs=Oldskool gaming experiance on your phone all for free using a wiimote. Can always use the screen to control as well if your on the move. Parcels - keep track of all your TF purchases. Trainline tickets - check train times Sky+ - check sky guide and set programmes to record whilst your out TuneIn Radio - massive selection of radio stations to listen to via wifi/3g including major and local stations Thats all I've bothered with for now
  18. When you're typing your reply you may notice in the top right corner of the reply box a picture showing ABC and a little tick, this is a spellchecker. Click it, install the plugin and worry no more. And there are already quite a few dyslexic people on here who generally make light of it when they join up so people don't judge them or use the spellcheck and manage ok. As for some pads which will work on a smooth rim I've used heatsink yellows which work great but are awful in the wet. What bike do you ride??
  19. How olds your chain?? Have you watched the snailcam setup video on tartybikes, could help you out!
  20. I'm liking it, the graphics look a lot nicer than the ones on my 26" simple! What rear tyre are you running and do you find it a tight fit around the BB?
  21. Nice little vid that mate, and given me a way to practice up to fronts. Never thought of doing it like that before, thanks for the tip!!!
  22. Do I have to buy a ticket even though I'm only going to compete on the Sunday??
  23. I know it means nowt but I stumped for android and ended up getting a dell streak and I love it, so much nicer to use than my iphone. Good lad for not going to Apple!
