    Hs11, Hs33

I've got the 11's and find them a lot better than my 05 HS33's with 2 or 4 finger blades. Though having not used a new HS33 I can't really comment on how they feel.
  2. I enjoy going to the gym but again going too big hold you back on a bike, plus being in the gym means I'm not riding! Pete, what supplements do you take and where do you get them from? I find that creatine comes in handy on the bike as well as at the gym, and I always have a protein shake after a ride to help me recover.

The colours they come in, the hs33 has slightly more contoured covers and the 11's have 4 finger levers whereas the 33's have 2 fingers. And thats it!
  4. You might struggle then as you need the crown race to match the headset although one of the Echo SL crown races they sell in the spares section may fit (but don't quote me on that). Are the bearings knackered??
  5. No to the evo mount idea as the spacing on the mounts will be a lot wider than the evo mounts. As for the forks, did you swap the crown race for the one to match the new headset?
  6. Cheers stan will leave as is!
  7. Zoo stuff has kind of died off now, deng uses his Echo brand for components nowadays but it's basically the same stuff. If you want a zoo headset just go for a echo sl.
  8. +1 Echo hubs use a 10mm axle whereas industry standard is 9mm, either file the dropouts or file the axle.
  9. I'm currently in the process of trimming about 1-2mm off the side knobs on my Der Kaiser so it fits my frame nicely and wondered is there any other bits I should cut off to aid grip whilst I'm at it or will it be good enough? EDIT: Been a busy boy!
  10. What rim have you got on the rear?? If it's the standard one that comes on a Phase it might be a bit soft and not hold a grind very well.
  11. Fuppin snow, fup off you backstard!

      Revolver

      Fuppin is a good word.

  12. Wide back wheel is better for things like preventing pinch flats, plus if you use a narrow rim on a modern trials frame and are running rim brakes it makes it harder to set them up as it's highly likely the pads might not even touch the rim face.
  13. Nah they're deffo flat, rlat bars are flat along the middle with the ends rising slightly like Riser bars have a rise in the middle with the ends rising like this As for the wheels I'd stick with whats on there for a few months until you've got a few hundred quid spare to blow on some new ones or a decent 2nd hand set.
  14. Define what you mean by thick and thin, do you actually mean wide and narrow rims??
  15. Would be like shagging Jake Gyllenhaal but with long hair. Just like when you've got a mate with a fit sister, though you can see the similarities in looks between them, which means really your gay and fancy your mate.
  16. You'd definately notice the difference with riser bars, they feel a lot nicer to ride with than flats though I'd get a single speed kit sorted first then try and pick some bars up 2nd hand off here once your validated!
  17. Get some pics of the Teg up in The Car Thread, Adam from Tartybikes on the lookout for a new track car an I've told him Honda is the way forward!

  18. Get some lovely riser bars on when you can afford as well, I really like them Phase bikes. Think I would have got one myself if I were just starting out! I'd also go for the Trialtech spacer kit and an 18t Trialtech sprocket from Tartybikes, comes in at just over £11 for the pair then you'd just need to sort a double wheel tensioner out and a lockring.
  19. Grafting I'm afraid, only get 1 full saturday off a month so it's hit and miss!
  20. Definately would be interested then, he's got a little specialized at the moment but would really like a proper trials bike as soon as he can get his stabilisers off so a custom would be a hell of a lot cheaper than the smallest monty!
  21. Think a few people looked at that but couldnt get to it due to the layout of the section an the time allowed
  22. Not really what your looking for but again I'd recommend getting them anodised like I did with your old forks. Really good finish if you prep them relatively well and for £30 returned back the same week I sent them I can't complain!!
