  1. Was it open to all skill levels?? If so then I hope so!

    Age!

I'm the same, 28 on Monday an started back last year. And planning on completing most if not all of the british champs this year (on blue mind!) so definately not too late to come back!
  3. I haven't really read up the gummy bash rings just saw the pictures and assumed the bit that fixed on the bottom was a hard rubber compound, seemed the most obvious thing to do in my mind.
  4. If its under a year old I'd get an appointment at an Apple store and take it for them to look at, my sister in law did with hers after her signal died as a result of a dodgy screen replace and they just did a straight swap on the spot with no questions asked!
  5. Something like this has been done, there was a post about it not long ago!
  6. I'd like to see Steve start knocking up a few brake boosters again, from what I've heard they were pretty damn good and the odd few that turn up for sale on here seem to get snapped up pretty quick.
  7. Can't get enough of A Little Piece by The Jezabels at the moment, massive tune. Also been driving to work playing Made In Hell by Halford and good old Zombie by The Cranberries!!
  8. Not sure I'd be sending my 3yr old son down a ramp on a skateboard, helmet or not!!
  9. Found £60 when I went to Morrisons earlier, result!

    1. Mattio

      Mattio

      I lost £60 earlier! :D

      Revolver

Ahem, you mean it was ME who lost £60.

Heard some peodo was chased around Morrisons somewhere up north, dropped his wallet?

  10. I know this has nothing to do with me but going with the flow of you turning over a new leaf and going off the info you yourself have given on here I don't believe you have turned over a new leaf. 3 pages back Skoze put a reply about his brake which you apparently never paid for, you replied saying you have only ever bought 1 Echo brake off the forum and it certainly wasn't off Matt going by the info you gave. Now you have posted recently stating if you pay him back can you be allowed back on the forum, now this may be out of line of me but if I personally "hadn't" bought said brake I certainly wouldn't be paying anyone £60, especially if it was just so I could get onto a forum to sell some bits, another lie?? Sorry again to anyone who thinks I'm butting in here with me being relatively new!
  11. No worries mate, always happy to help!
  12. It's all personal preference mate, just depends what feels right for you, I run a front disc and rear maggie on my mod and dual maggies on my stock. Some people will swear by V's and others who use discs will swear by cable operated as opposed to hydraulic, once you get into the swing of things you'll be able to make your own mind up. It's like the whole grind your rim/don't grind your rim debate and what's the best pad, something that works for one person might not feel so great to the next. Just a pain in the arse waiting till you that setup that feels good!
  13. TGS can still be part of pure trials, last round of british champs last year at Shipley is a good example. One section on a banking had the elite route going up an obscenely high and very steep angled rock with no run up, the only solution was to sidehop. And to be honest I don't even know if all the elite riders that day attempted to get up as it was MASSIVE! Another section on the top had a large climb onto a rock, think I remember watching one of the elite guys attempt it a whole different way to everyone else and gap across (which was also massive). Comes in handy everywhere, it ain't just a street thing.
  14. Round where I live we're still on the oldskool style of half pedal up wall, backhop down off wall. Mainly due to there being sod all to make a decent line to ride!
  15. Ah but had you not started this topic you'd be on a lot less! The question now is how many people replied on this topic to try and get some rep points??
  16. You wanna start reading back your posts before you hit that button and fill in the blanks!
  17. I'd stick with a phase personally, the one on ebay thats linked above is a perfect starter and a great price. As for doing some recreational riding your better off sticking with a proper trail bike.
  18. Am I the only person who thinks you look like Owen Wilson in that pic?!
  19. If you get the right v setup you'll probably have no need to upgrade the frame anytime soon. Just get some tnn lgv pads an the brake setup well and it should perform as well as if not better than a magura, as I said before it's all personal preference.
  20. The only thing to think about with a 1.3 is I'm pretty sure they run a v brake on the rear instead of a magura so you just have to decide what you'd prefer to use yourself
  21. Gonna stick oven on shortly to knock up some turkey pittas with nando's hot sauce, followed by a brew and some chocolate brownies the wife made earlier!!
