  1. Yup got a Kodak zx1 I think it is, records in 720p hd an does a great job of it to! Good to hear you got it sorted!
  2. Welcome matey, good to see another member of the oldskool making a return! Not too much has changed when you get down to it really other than there's no longer any seats, singlespeed all the way (with a front freewheel) and disc brakes are frighteningly affordable. Hope you find yourself a decent bike and enjoy your return!
  3. Looking good young man, wasn't a big fan of the limey to be honest but it looks nice when someones riding it. As for the sidehop, do you land on your front wheel when you do them? I find myself doing it and it un-nerves me a bit but wasn't sure if thats how they're supposed to be!
  4. Cheers Mark, considered having a go at building a wheel in the future but I think if I ever do I'll order the right bits for the job at the time then. At least I can sort getting a front wheel ordered and send this off to be built up now, just gotta decide on a frame to put it on!!
  5. I've just stripped my echo tr front wheel down so the hub can be sent back to tartys to be rebuilt in a new wheel and just wondered if it's worth keeping the old spokes and nipples from the wheel. Will they come in handy for anything, can they even be reused safely?? And another thing, as it was a disc front wheel one side of the hub was built with straight spoke (is this radial?) and where they go through the hub they've left little humps all the way around as if the spoke was so tight it was almost pulling through the aluminium, if you understand that, is it safe to be rebuilt? I only got the wheel built up at the start of the year and it's not been ridden much, maybe once or twice a week for a couple of hours if I'm lucky!
  6. Remember that at the end of the day if you've got a bike with gears you can always get a single speed kit!
  7. I'm not entirely sure on how much trials you want to ride as being able to manual easily doesn't really help all that much. If it's just pure street bmx type stuff then your best bet would be something like an Onza Zoot if you don't want to spend much or splash out on an Inspired. Though if your not that bothered about sticking to 24" then why not just get a T-rex like your mates if you find it that easy to ride?
  8. Thats what I'm worried about, scoured all the usual resources and hoped someone on here might know better! Oh well, I'm sure there'll be another bike or pram going cheap I can steal some off!!
  9. My son has a kids balance bike that runs plastic mag wheels with solid rubber/foam type tyres and they're absolutely knackered as he's hammered it. He's due to move upto a proper pedal bike soon but I'll be saving this for his younger brother to start out on so I'd like to get some new tyres on it ready. The problem is as its got solid ones at the moment I don't know if the rim will be suitable for drilling a hole for an innertube valve and fitting some proper tyres so does anyone know where I can buy some 10" wheels that will take proper tubes and tyres??
  10. +1 That'll get your heatsinks working!
  11. Nice centre spread in this months Trial Magazine Mike and good to see the pads in there. Surprised you managed to get through to John as he's been pretty useless when I've dealt with him!

  12. Are all these threads requesting pics and opinions leading to something Mike? Your not planning on bringing out a Phatframe are you???
  13. Here http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Large-Selection-Key-Clamp-Scaffold-Fittings-/270673072307?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3f055f50b3
  14. Go to Japan, get another Integra, win at least 1 round of the nationals. Think thats enough to keep me going for now! EDIT: Just read this one Hell yes!!!
  15. Get on to your nearest Apple shop and get it claimed on the warranty, they should do you a straight swap for a brand new one. Does it not respond when plugged in to iTunes?
  16. Bit OT I know but does anyone remember the naked riding article in MBUK years ago! Definately, definately picked the wrong people for that one!
  17. Cause I can be arsed pulling the rats nest of an entertainment unit setup out everytime I play. Got a component lead on the way to sort the job out anyway, just hope it comes soon!
  18. Am I the only person who isn't a fan of zombies?? Played the knife/xbow/tomahawk game the other night and won't be doing again. Was absolutely kicking ass, 1st place and steaming ahead, last 10 seconds starts to count down, as it gets to 2 seconds some c**t tomahawks me. Gutted doesn't cover it! And as we got Sky HD yesterday and the telly only has 1 HD connector the PS3 is now seeing no action till it's sorted!

    Films!?

Yes, though it's gotta be the original soundtrack with english subs for me! Think I'll dig out my copy of the original Transformers movie on Blu Ray tonight, that is quality!
  20. You wanna try some pashley forks, they're too low in my opinion!
  21. Oh dear, things have just got difficult. Do I now go for the brand new Born, save £50 and get the 2010 without the booster, or save even more and get the X-Ray with almost exact Slate II geo??!! My brain hurts!
  22. Remember when he was supposedly the 1st bloke to Switzerland squeaker on a MTB and they did something like a 6 page feature on it!
  23. Could be the born for me then! Wish there were a few more of them about on here to be honest, saying that I've not really noticed many slate II's either!
  24. I look forward to seeing the ones with the forks!
  25. Nope me I'm afraid, taken in summer of 2000 or 2001 on a remote(ish) scottish island where my mum lives.
