I'm fairly sure that a distinction at BTEC is equivalent to a C or a B at GCSE, and you've said you have 'many' BTEC grades. So providing the BTEC's you have are all reasonable grades, I can't see why they wouldn't accept it.

Seems like a non-branded phone that they have put android on, can't see why it wouldn't work.. Although for as cheap as they are selling them, I wouldn't expect them to last long. Can't motivate myself to revise today, how can I up my productivity?

Yeah, it nearly caught me out when I was looking at the blades! Really? I tend to use a 3 blade disposable for 2/3 shaves and throw it away, will make sure I do that!

I got one of these, really like the blade on the back for shaping exotic moustaches! Might even get to use it in November Buuuut for 4 extra blades you're looking at £10 minimum, which is rubbish.

I had this yesterday, and one thing I can recommend is after each exam you do ask to go out to the toilet or just outside to get some air. Anything to separate each exam from the next, it will help you go into each one with a fresh head My second exam didn't go as well as I'd hoped, and my mindset into the third one was even less desirable than the second. But after tomorrow you will probably have done a significant fraction of your exams too, which is a bonus.

Lucid dreams are the best! I had a small dream in the drowsy stages of this morning, where I did a G turn on a carbon road bike down a spiral ramp. I watched the Brumotti video on here a last night, and I think combined it with Chris Akrigg's stoppie down the stairs which I also watched last night. Needless to say, it was awesome

Yodel are THE worst courier I've ever experienced, we got a TV delivered the other week clearly in a Samsung box saying delicate and it's contents on the outside. Delivery man threw it in the back of his van and came to deliver it. Needless to say, it looked like someone had taken a sledgehammer to it in transit! Hermes have been good in my experience, but only from a receivers point of view. They now text you to tell you when it's being delivered too, which is fairly helpful

He's listed 70 computers/laptops in the last 5 days.. Also the maximum value of item he's sold is £49.99? All seems a little suspect to me. It begs the question where he got around 30 MacBook Pro's!

I was thinking about this effect last week, I always thought it was to do with the heat treating of the frame? Or is it just a coat that you can put on it?

Hi guys, I know people on here are in all manner of jobs and have all kinds of connections, so thought it was worth posting on here to help me find a work experience! I'm looking to do physics through uni, so any ideas for places that would be interesting to do an experience at would be greatly appreciated. Things such as stress testing components, as I think that would be fun. But I did run out of ideas pretty quickly.. And if any of you happen to be in an interesting physics based job (I don't know what branch of physics I want to do), I'd be great if you could explain to me what you do/where I could possibly get a placement. Ideas and comments welcome
