Your mate gets a £60 ticket subsidy for the year, or £30 a ticket if you split it over both. That's what you mean right?
-
Granted, no idea what that guy was thinking! Something along the lines of, 'maybe if I charge back onto the track immediately I'll still be in the pack! F*ck.' Not doing the french hot-hatch rep any good at all.
-
A french hatchback with a load of money spent on it is going to be: A) ridiculous fun worthless, so could be picked up relatively cheaply. C) a fookin' pain when it goes wrong.. do it

They are built for different things though Jake Yeah I'd like to be going, not only because not riding for a year (at least) has caused me to put on at least 2 stone, but so I can see that Caddy. I've got exams all the way till the end of June, 5 weeks of pure joy!

Cheers mate! Yeah those 16V engines are really spritely(redlines at just over 7k) and do have a surprising amount of poke when you're giving it some Been silently watching your VW project over the past 6 months or so, gonna look really good when it's all sorted!

That was after a wax, have recently ordered a Maguiar's clay bar kit to properly look after it. It's pretty much un-molested, which is hard to find these days. Only had it a few months, but am entirely fixated on this power vs. weight game.. As are Adam Read and Adam Bessell from the posts I keep seeing on facebook (which looks epic fun)

Been away from this forum for about a year now, good to see it's still as lively as ever! Anyway, I'm gonna join in. This is my 1999 Peugeot 106 GTi, 1.6 litre 16V. The car only puts out about 140bhp, but it makes a great noise and is a hoot in the corners. Anybody else on here a French car bearer?

It will only go down after your first year, providing you drive safely.. I'm with iKube (check them out, they're good) and paid £1100 on my 106. You also get 10% off when you get referred, which I could do for you if you can find it cheap enough. Thing is you get shit like a curfew, and if you break it they charge you £100..

Passed my theory today, and really like my new job at Waitrose A small triumph, but made me happy
-
Grow your hair until you don't need a helmet at all? I'd seriously invest in a new large helmet, it simply isn't worth trying to modify your current one.

They decided this before any results have come out? Or have you taken predominantly coursework based subjects? This seems like a pretty harsh decision from them, but then again some schools are all about A*-C grades and if they don't suspect you to get them.. you're out. Definitely don't give up and get on Andrew's advice and call the colleges you're interested in.

Congrats man, I also got my job! Turns out they only invited 3 people as we were the favourites based on their pre-interview questions and what not, so we had individual ones and I got the job on the spot! This thread has been really helpful though, thanks to all who posted.

Waitrose employee, welcome to a world of not minimum wage! So happy $$$

To be fair, we had a problem with an Acer Aspire v3 the other day, and their warranty/customer support was really good. Buuuuut the product did go wrong within 2 months of owning it..

An i5 and an SSD, will mean it's perfectly quick for file browsing booting and internetting. 4gb of ram isn't huge, and I can't see it being a problem for what you want the laptop to do. And if you're playing games pre-2000 you don't need to go for a gaming machine at all, on board graphics will be more than enough. Seems pretty fit for purpose to me

I've been giving this some thought, surely talking about my financial gain isn't advisable? I was thinking more along the lines of sharing the benefits when the company does well, and sharing the responsibility when it does badly?
-
Yeah I've thought about this a lot, gonna try to have some kind of answer that will buy me a few seconds thinking time that isn't 'errrrrrrr'. Something like 'Well..pause.' This is what I want, as opposed to shit like. 'what's your biggest downfall?' Where you have to be vaguely honest, but not completely dissuade them from considering you! People that work there are 'partners' instead of just employees, so I'll have a look into how I can bring that up. Cheers!

I'm really hoping mine is like this, I've spoken to the head of recruitment (who I assume it's going to be with) and she seems friendly and informal so.. This is my biggest fear, hence why I wanted a single interview. I refuse to cut across people and interrupt, but that might result in me not coming across strong enough. After all I am a trials rider! Yeah same with mine (Bonus!). I'm fairly sure that Waitrose employ a wide range of people, as I've seen old guys 60+ stacking shelves, as well as banging blonde women. So it's about time a dashing young lad like myself was hired Thanks for the replies guys, keem them coming!

Basically, I have an interview at Waitrose on Wednesday but it's a group one. Now I've never had a group interview, and can't really see the point of them? Does anyone have any experience in the, and could give me some pointers on what to/not to do? Also, what am I likely to be asked? Bearing in mind that Waitrose are renowned for customer service. Was told that they go on for a 'few hours' on the phone, so have no idea what to expect! Cheers

Just got £25 quid courtesy of the pub/restaurant I used to work at, not worked there in 6 weeks! This is why I quit, because they can't even pay their staff right.. but I'm starting to like their pay system

I tried to go to this a few years back, but the runway had standing water on it so it was cancelled I've heard it's unbelievable though
-
Is this picture not proof enough that he landed it?
-
I thought this when I watched it yesterday, much more preload on your gaps and you'll be winning
-
'kin ell Flipp! Really liked how the video was edited, had a good vibe to it.

Watched it today while I was revising, always loved the Monaco circuit! Perez was driving like such a tool though, can't believe he didn't take Mclaren out of the race.
