  1. Welding a disc mount on an alu frame wont end well. Jake hicky did it on his maladie / manus (can't remember which) and it tore off iirc
  2. I hope so, highly doubt it though. Only options for rear disc atm are the Curve24 and Neon Bow24
  3. Cutting them will make them even lighter
  4. Ghostrider it's Christmas eve cheer up grinch
  5. I lost my tar in a block of heart
  6. Managed to re-tap the existing hole with a much longer bolt, tap was only cheap and is already partially blunt so didn't want to risk it.
  7. Echo SL Headset and small starnut are on the post-christmas shopping list then, cheers guys!
  8. Cheers guys I'm not going down the "use a massive starnut and smash it with a hammer route" Any idea whether the headsets dead or the starnuts been slowly pulling out and not letting me preload it enough?
  9. None of these posts really help I need to know which size to buy not here a discussion. Need a starnut because of my sloping stem
  10. Hey guys, recently destroyed my starnut and need to know what size starnut is needed for my trialtech 26" forks. Now for the headset. It's been continously coming loose, in a 4 hour ride it came so loose the bars rocked slightly when on the back wheel. Is this because the starnut was pulling out resulting in insufficient headset preload or is the headset f**ked? Headset is a kopanda (copy of an echo sl, im replacing it with an sl after Christmas anyway) Cheers guys!
  11. Yeah I've used the kit on my 2005/6 echo team so im confident it's an m6 tap and m5 coil. Cheers for the answers guys!
  12. Hey guys, managed to strip 3/4 4bolt mounts at once despite being well greased and barely torqued. Basically, won't be able to drill until after xmas due to tools being with my dad but I have the tap and coils at home, would I be able to simply use the tap to thread it? I know it'd blunt the tap quick but I'll probably buy a new kit soon anyway. Is it doable?
  13. Ah I was really please with how quick it got to me and how good the condition was cheers man! Yeah I was thinking of using my trialtech 2bolt and selling this I'll sell it for £15 inc postage cheers
  14. Nicest bike you've had yet Brett (from what I've seen ) Deffo ride with you soon haven't seen you in ages!
  15. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="williams" data-cid="2473036" data-time="1355868855"><p> Not all, and I only have 3 onza parts.. Still chocked by the really high weight haha... dissapointed...</p></blockquote> Trial tech bars are kinda heavy, onza stem, think the disc hub is a little heavy too, saint brake, bash plate and rear tyre will add weight too
  16. Heya guys, got this booster thrown in when I bought a new 04 maggy, I'm just wanting to know whether or not these are any good? What are they worth? I can't find any information on them at all.
  17. Mine isnt even wound around an axle, It's just wedged it I have it running along side the chain and then bent into a U shape so it sits around the chain without falling off
  18. You're just lanky Don't forget CLS was 6ft+ though
  19. I initially thought Kane sold me phat pads but wasn't really bothered in the slightest because they worked amazingly, the fact they work without my rim having a stupidly harsh grind lead me to believe they were in fact belaeys, either way they work haha. Just not sure what to advertise them as now
  20. I started on a mod but progressed stupidly quick on my 24, even after not riding for 6weeks after an hour i'm riding better than ever. Still hate stocks You've gotta ride with me soon and try out my echo24 now I've changed it a bit I'll try come down to Woking / Portsmouth after Christmas or you're welcome to crash at mine.
  21. I've found riding tgs I don't get arm pump at all wheras when I actually ride lines even something a short as a minute I'll get arm pump. I found changing my bar + lever position and having the reach in just a bit helped quite a lot
  22. Heya guys, so I'm selling some pads and I've always believed them to be belaeys and it's what people have told me. The angle edges suggest belaey but the colour is a little bit phatty If they are belaeys I'll just stick them in some random backings and reuse them. They're in this topic
  23. He means tools when he says instruments, he recently made a thread in Trials Chat showing everyone how he uses a screw driver and a hammer for everything
