Not sure If this should go here or the dreams thread (If it's still here) but meh Sent my motherboard back for rma about 4-5weeks ago and currently waiting on credit/replacement from msi, had this strange dream where I got offered a asus/try all bundle, it's an asus mobo with a os preinstalled (some come with Linux for instance) but it was a try-all os, apparently very lightweight and doesn't use much resources but is more prone to breaking than windows I'll upload a pic of my rig before I dismantled it for the rma in a bit

I know you said not FS but would you swap a shimano xtr booster + cash for your odyssey? The xtr is about 2mm too narrow for my brake spacing

Aren't you running a bmx king George? Not 100% sure if the hub shell from a classic / iso etc would swap straight over

That was amazing, I remember when I started trials anyone could post a "Reading/Bristol/Barrow/etc" thread 2-3days before the ride and you'd get 15+ people turn up, now post a month in advance and get nothing.

I don't know if this helps but currently I hate using trains. Why spend too much money on an overcrowded, sweaty and hostile atmosphere and be treated poorly by the public and staff for dragging my bike onto the train when I can drive? Some journeys it'll cost me slightly more but it's well worth the extra cost of fuel - which I can split the cost of with a second rider. Only on 100+ mile journeys do I take the train.

Arent the steps sloped for more knee / chest clearance? If so, why have a sloping top cap with a massive clamp section?

Since the TF update I haven't been able to see vimeo at all and it makes me miss out on a lot of video's because when I go onto my laptop/pc the topic is marked as read and I ignore it. I'm still on some variation of ios5

Spoke tensioner laurence! I've found they were a little harder to get done properly on FFW because the chain is constantly moving but it can be done.

I can imagine a hydraulic gyro would be okay on a 20/24/26 street bike with a powerful rear disc eg hopes/saints

The 2011 maguras are flexy anyway so it won't improve it a huge deal I wouldn't have thought, also, those brake pads and forks arent the best of quality so replacing those would make the brake better and possibly stiffer (stiffer forks)

Dave they asked your experiance and also if you had to pay any extra tax's when the bike was brought into the country, you'd have spent less time giving them the info they asked for rather than pissing about and going around in circles with vague answers.

I always found tech brakes to be a little spongey so if yours feels okay then keep it

I used a 310mm galvanised spoke for my tensioner, although they're good I'd never use one on FFW again, with the chain constantly moving it skips off all the time.

All 4bolt mounts are M5

24pure trials frame with vert dropouts and a disc mount would make me moist.

Majority of Bmx cranks are 175mm and they have no clearance issues, it's only really useful for when dropping in I guess but still, no issues.

Why the plate instead of a ring?

Am I the only one that didn't enjoy that? Ridings big but I much prefered his last Hex video and still think he looks better on a stock.
