  1. Ran my pro pads for 6months and in the wet they had more bite than a Maggy and incredible hold. Louder than most maggies though Standard pads are much the same just without the noise.
  2. I used to love the look of the old hope/tryall rotors that came with the mk1 silver sky, the star shape ones.

I barely notices changes that much, didn't notice any difference in feel between sl forks and trialtech, nor between changing my kenda kinetics (1150g each) to my fat Albert rear (600ish) and small block front (500ish). I don't even notice any difference between adding a few stem stackers at all
  4. Due to my dislike of maggys I'd be dual disc on my echo24 if I could be, I wouldn't hesitate to run one on a 26 either as I've been on a few koxx red sky's and even with spoke flex due to a larger wheel disc is still nicer (imo)
  5. Plus more volume so you can run harder pressures with the same bounce = less punctures
  6. I always find rolling easier, I can never seem to shift my weight forward enough when doing it static
  7. 160 should be more than enough, if I remember corectly some older koxx mods were 140 or 150
  8. That tail worked a lot better on the lower bb older gu frames, it just doesnt look right That tail worked a lot better on the lower bb older gu frames, it just doesnt look right
  9. I was getting things mixed up between my current frame and the ozonys bb probably a reset Ti or a trialtech sport BB Thinking more along the lines of the bonz rear rim as it looks nicer than the viz
  10. Curve 24 frame(disc) Trialtech forks(disc) Tryall k2 stem with graphics removed Tryall carbon bars Front + real trialzone 180's Tryall front disc hub Viz front rim Rocket Ron front tyre Chris king single speed disc rear hub with a fat, splined ti 12 spoket Pay conti to make a 24 der barron (money's no issue right? ) Echo sl 2013 cranks with echo ti chainring Echo ti bb Echo tr pedals with ti axle Stan ti throughout. Strong yet light and most importantly a dual disc 24!
  11. Dot5.1 has a really low viscosity, thinner than mineral oil isn't it?
  12. Improve your diet whilst training and cut out caffeine on rides Improve your diet whilst training and cut out caffeine on rides
  13. Maybe he means the detachable bosses? Maybe heatsink Steve would sell you some?
  14. Wouldn't it work better holding the front brake?
  15. I think he means it rubs when he puts power down rather than the wheel slipping. This could be down to either really flexy chain stays (not sure If a stiff 4bolt booster would help) or a flexy wheel, how loose are your spokes?
  16. Chris rather than do various isolation exercises why not work on compounds - deadlift will work lats, traps, lower back biceps and importantly grip plus it'll work your legs. Bench press in both incline and flat variations work pecs, shoulders, triceps. Squats (atg) will work your calfs, quads, hammys and glutes plus a little back. It'll also work any muscles helping to stabilise the bar wheras machines won't.
  17. Could be pedal bearings. Just a tiny bit of grease on the bb splines if it's an Isis bb, grease pedal + freewheel + bb cup threads
  18. I think Jack Chinnery snapped at least two stems, I know one for sure and although he was a typical tgs rider I remember him being quite smooth.
  19. I hate grinding my rims with a passion, I run a spoke tensioner on an echo24 purely so I can fit the chain and forget about it (no retentioning etc), if this was £50-70ish inc return postage I'd get this so I only have to take my wheel out to (very rarely) replace a spoke / tube. (had 1 puncture in almost a year with a fat Albert and a cheap Bikeshop tube)
  20. I think he means braided hoses, bike specific...
  21. I like putting a film on and having a couple of beers when wheel building, for some reason I find it really relaxing haha
  22. If you grind one way then each side will be different directions
  23. Meant Greg haven't got a clue why I typed brad haha. Yeah I saw gregs close call but was hoping someone fell in and had it filmed
  24. Haven't watched the video yet as I'm on mobile but did Brad or Greg ever fall in the fountain? I left just as Brad almost fell in so didn't get to see
