  1. 18-16 will work, but the wheel will be right at the back of the drop outs and it'll feel longer. Also, crank clearance is a massive issue on these frames. You need cranks with loads of offset if you want to run thick brake pads such as French cousts or cnc heatsink yellows. Echo cranks are the best for clearance I've found. If not be prepared to get the grinder out to the back of them
  2. I ran 175mm cranks, 18-15 with a 130x25 trialtech stem on my limey 326, and the I'm same height as you
  3. Think I need a 90x35 stem. The 110x35 is too long for park riding

  5. Cracking afternoons riding at rockcity with pugson. I'm seriously rusty at skatepark stuff though, it's been years since I rode one properly

    Onza bars

I've got some flat Onza carbon bars if you are interested, pay the postage you can have them
  7. That's amazing. Proof that pogo stick bikes aren't needed is right there
  8. Been and had a play out this aft with Mikey d. It rides well nice, still can do trialsy stuff on it and it spins quite well too. Just need to learn some stuff now
  9. cant quite remember. I'll tag you on facebook on a post then he can tell you
  10. Do they all still ride their respective frames. Garland doesn't ride hardly at all, you are on something else now, don't know the middle two, and spence has gone back to a fourplay as far as I know. Sold his hex to Joe McKee. I'm probably wrong but I like the name. Just need the nice paint job and decals making Cheers old lad. How's married life treating you
  11. It has been done. Dez Coates from congleton ran a tubeless tyre on the back of his rockman Austin for ages. Lasted him until the tyre wore out
  12. Cheers boys. Yes mate, I'll try and get over when I've broke up from work
  13. New toy for me. Called it the T'Marino, as far as I'm aware, I'm the only Yorkshireman with one now. Got donated a cracked Marino 24 frame off cocky, I could have it for free as it was quite badly cracked and needed a fairly big repair. The crack The repair Basically it's been seam welded along all directions of the crack, then a steel tube split in half to create a sleeve was welded over the top, joined to the bb shell and down tube, and the also seam welded along its length. The bloke who did it for me did it for free as I sorted him a load of parts out for a drift trike Aquired hippy's hope/dmr wheelset I wasn't a fan of the green, plus half of it had been ground off so the welder could repair it. Hence the black Matt rattle can until I can afford to get it powder coated The finished article. The geo measures with these forks, quite roughly with the tape measure, 1030wb, 365cs, +25bb and unsure of head angle, looks 73/74. The silver urbans were all I could afford for the time being. I'll probably get them painted the same colour as the frame. It's not a mega bucks build, it's cost me less than £250 all in for everything, including the wheelset. So it's a cheap and fun thing for me to mess about on indoors whilst the weather is shite. I still have the echo 24 for bouncy stuff as well, so I can still do comps should the need take me Spec for anybody who cares is: Marino frame Echo urban forks System ex 110x35 stem, 30mm stackers Trialtech high rise bars Deore brakes front and rear Ebay rotors Odi longneck grips Hope pro2 rear hub on ano green DMR dv rim Hope XC front hub on ano green DMR dv rim Moto RT tyres Echo cranks and bash, trialtech pedals Kmc910 chain Thanks for looking Bing
  14. Dan cox is the admin of it, text him and get him to add you to it. It's pure comedy gold Which halfruads? I feel the need to come in for coffee, or be a right awkward b*****d, or both
  15. Our Maude asked me if I wanted anything from town today. Jokingly I said "if you are passing the bike shop, go in and get me a pair of black ODI longnecks for the Marino build". She did. What an awesome woman. And cooked me belly pork for tea, and got me some beers in
  16. Copper grease is a mechanics friend
  17. Old vid. Million times better
  18. Nowt wrong with my sl's, I've had them on since I got the 24 and they feel fine, no signs of breaking, mine are that thick steerer tube version if that's anything to do with it. I'm a heavy lad as well, so I think I'd be able to make them break. They flex a bit, but that's it
  19. They f**king did as well. I woke up to 14 notifications, and the first thing I saw at 4:45am when I turned the alarm off was a picture of Cox's hairy arse crack. Which is strange because he looks like the least hairy man alive
  20. Having to run deng forks on my Marino due to them being cheap and funds being tight. Inspired forks are too fricking expensive

  21. There's no holes haha. They are the ones with the machined outside face if you know which ones I mean. Look ok actually, I did think of that but I'm on a budget so they'll have to do
  22. The only deng item off on mine Leon is a set of echo cranks, only because I can't be arsed to swap them with my trialtechs
  23. Might be the camera angle that does it. Looks good though. I'd debadge it though, give it a clean look
