I've not yet experienced it going poop, but I've had other pads go on me in the past. I do put it on after a tube change though, but it must be my riding style :/ Although I could make do with less hold, Having unbelievable braking performance gives me a hell of a lot more confidence, I obviously don't trust myself to ride without an incredible brake...

You either need to change your technique or buy a new rim.. cause you should not need tar on a fresh grind with those pads!

I always carry some about, just incase my brake suddenly goes poop, Or if I have to remove my tyre from a puncture I touch it up with tar to work in the brake again..

Yeah I agree, I've miss-advertised products before and it's resulted in the buyer wanting a refund, which since it was my fault did. It's less of a ball ache for the buyer and seller post-purchase as well as pre-purchase!

Grinding <3 This is normal, the bite comes from pad wobble, They vibrate a lot more so you get this lout squeak with your braking (most cases)
