  1. Don't worry about that, unless you give it a proper thwack it's not going to die
  2. It's in order to make them 10mm.. Instead of cutting into them to make it standard.. This isn't an issue with the 7.5 pads
  3. I just got a shindig with my echo's leaving my shin a mess... That's the last time tempt fate -.-
  4. After seeing the damage I've done to walls with those pedals, I'm not looking forward to the day I do this XD Looks brutal, hope it heals quick for you
  5. I concluded correctly in the first post
  6. This made that comment irrelevant...
  7. I used one with a heatsink yellow out of desperation on a grind.. And it wore down shockingly quick, wouldn't advise using them with a grind, just buy more cousts
  8. Have you tried anything else?

    AWESOME!! As usual!!
  10. This.. Shwalbe tubes and such.. I yelped with happiness when I discovered these were the same thread!!
  11. At the end of the day we all ride because we find it fun, and we don't take judgement from others because our riding is "boring". That's the beauty of trials, there are endless possibilities of how to do something, yes, some people like to push and try new ways, but we'll still all ride to how we feel comfortable. This is the same answer to a lot of topics on here. PREFERENCE. If I think I can tap a wall but not to front it. I'm not going to to front it, am I?
  12. "So which Darwin Award are you filming now?" "err.. Yeah, Darwin award for silliest bike accident" "ha hahaha ha ha ha"
  13. Could you be a little bit more specific? light? strong? hold grinds well? Tartybikes will be your best bet, Also they offer a wheelbuild service for individual parts. Or you could try get a second hand one from here.
  14. Are you high? That's a warmup O.o
  15. Echo rims hold grinds better than a downs kid holds a cat
  16. Slaves or lever? Slaves - lube them up!! Should get them free moving again. Lever - Remove the piston (if you have an old shwalbe tube or similar the ones with the threaded valve, cut the valve off and screw it into the lever, with the bleed screw still in attatch a track pump to it and pump until it fires out, make sure you have it in a bucket or something so you don't lose the spring and piston) Take out the O ring and the other seal and sand the main body of the piston a little (not too much) But the seal and O ring back on and reassemble the body, should sort it out. Good luck
  17. You think this is a psychological thing? Have you ever ridden something you felt was huge gone back to it the next day and it feels so small? After riding so well it's easy to think you're better than you are, meaning when you do ride to your real ability you feel like you're capable of more, which in turn does affect your confidence which kills your balance + confidence. There are two sides of the brain, the remembering side and the doing side, it is easy to let the remembering side take over, for example, have you ever driven home then not been able to remember how you got there? That's because you're no longer thinking how to get home, and it's your remembering side which takes over. It's the same with this, Having a few days rest you're more likely to actually think what you're doing, instead of remembering and doing the wrong thing and not knowing why.
  18. Your pads aren't aligned squarely, The plastic pads can bend meaning they will always touch square to the rim even if they're a little out, but CNC backings are much stiffer, meaning you have to have them set up perfectly square. Re-align your pads and it should solve it, Good luck
  19. I was just about to ask this..
  20. It came off pretty incredible for "random stuff" I can't believe it's taken me so long to see it :'(
  21. Yeah grease the threads, Inspect them for little marks/dengs/dents that could be stopping it from wanting to go, if you don't have a tap and die for the threads (I can't believe I'm suggesting to do this now) try sort it with a flat screwdriver... But greasing up the threads should do
