  2. squeaking or creaking? if Creaking your BB is loose, tighten it If squeaking then clean it, lube it up 'nd shizz..... Tighten your crank bolts.. They could be loose, could even be your pedals...

  4. I would advise you to buy second hand. I've been out of the 20" scene for a while now, but I always remembered the bird being a heavy piece of kit. The onza frames I have nothing against, It's the steel forks bars and stem which I don't agree with (heavy front end).. A terrible frame with good components will always feel better than a good frame with terrible components. They are the "budget" bikes of the trials world (imo) The frames can last, but the rest wont. You could spend the money on a second hand bike that outshines the "cheaper" range of onza bikes in both ridability and quality.
  5. It all depends on what you want to ride. If you're wanting to go straight into trials and drop all of your BMX riding, Then get a 20" (You'd probably find a short one better, if you see one you like just make a topic and everyone here will advise you from there) If you're wanting to keep the BMX style of riding then go for a 24" street bike. I wouldn't recommend you even look a 26" bikes XD As far as "what to buy" I started on an onza rip, which I regret given I never had much money to buy a new bike when it was no longer suitable for me, meaning I was stuck with it. I'd advise you to go second hand, I buy almost everything second hand, you get way more for your money! Don't be attracted by the low prices of 20" Onza bikes.. often they tend to be poop unless you upgrade the crap out of them. so yeah, Take a look on here, for something, or Pinkbike. Ebay and gumtree are ok but bike thieves tend to go to them so I normally stay away (I have bought bikes off them in the past though, and you can find genuine sales which are a bargain so take a look anyway). Hope I've helped.
  6. This is exactly what I was going to say.. So this^^
  7. The Bitches!! Na I rode moto trials with my Dad for several years.. I ended up coming off the back of it one time and the bike landed pretty badly.. bent the exhaust and destroyed the airbox.. £750 worth of damage.. So my Dad sold It after repairing it (he was thinking about selling it before hand given they were costing too much to keep running) Then one christmas He got me a pedal trials bike (it took months and months of begging) and Ive been hooked since
  8. 15mm spanner on the axle, alen key on the end cap undo it.. Then you should be able to get a socket in there to undo the axle.. But Jack's cleared it up so no need to worry..
  9. Take out the axle and bearings... Problem solved
  10. I hated my LG compound with a passion.. It all depends on your rim, and It's always mixed opinions with the LG compound I now stay well clear of TNN because I hated both my belaey and LG pads.. And it's not just me that hated them but A lot of people did too! I'm yet to hear anything bad about the AD compound though, I've only heard they're amazing off the people that use them.. So if I were you I'd go for the TNN ADV brake pads
  11. It's ok, it's not like you were a bellend to all of us who did... Oh wait you were..
  12. That is by far, the most sexiest thing I have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      CalopS

I'd of gone with you in 2005 ;p Sikth above BMTH. That's a proper line up ;p

  14. How they look: How they feel:
  15. Were they thick? Trials specific ones tend to be much more thin, giving you a nicer feeling handlebar. I used to swear by rubber until I gave in and bought some trialtech foams (thin ones) Best decision I've ever made!!!
  16. How long have you been running the pads Brad? Are they consistent?
  17. That is one hot piece of bike!!!
