  1. I work with someone who talks to themselves. And i dont mean like when you're trying to work out something complicated, you say it out loud as a different way of approaching it. That i can understand. This is a running commantary of every mundane thing they do during the day.
  2. cant she go to the old bill? theyll do a crash statement and breathlise her?
  3. driving in a car share lane by himself
  4. whats all the shit on snapchat with you and the cops dan?
  5. no, it wont make any difference. Paint has no structual effect to a frame
  6. i had it before with my classic mini where the MOT tester complained about the amount of play/flex in the dash where the steering column mounted to. (you could grab the steering wheel and move it up and down.) As i explained to him, thats exactly as it came out of the factory!
  7. brings back memories of my mini, burning a liter of oil a day when i took it to germany
  8. yes it will fail. its to do with having nothing effect the ability to control the vehicle.
  9. Pete, inner steering rod cause cause knocking.

  14. i meant leon not ibiza :/ shows my knowledge of cars
  15. quick question, will a seat leon backbox fit on a mk4 golf? dont care about rear bumper clearance, just as long as the flanges/ mounting points are the same?
  16. i was hoping you posted exactly the same picture up just to see how long it took for dan to notise
  17. And anyones going to listen to you Jack because.... ?
  18. and shes fitted! Need to make some proper brackets as just got some ally strips atm.
  19. I know what you're saying about the disks Rich, yet theres play in the steering, which leads me to think its inner track rod ends. Looks like they're fairly cheap, so i'll do them first, give the disks a good cleanup and go from there.
  20. thats the thing. ive got brake judder at speed, and if your stationary with the engine off there is what feels like play on the steering wheel. So far ive replaced: top strut mounts, struts, wheel bearings, bottom ball joints, lower arms, outer track rod ends.... so i though inner track rod ends are the next logical step.
  21. This finally turned up this week: 70mm to 83mm silicone adaptor with alot of force and lub, eventually got it on (ooo errr! ) Random question, is it common for inner track rod ends to go on mk4 golfs? Mines got quite a horrific brake judder, and all the brakes look mint and ive replaced pretty much the entire front suspension :/
  22. Jake, have a read through this: http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?5892097-My-super-ultra-crazy-stupid-STATIC-low-MK4 Its for a mk4 golf, but its all pretty much the same principle with engine spacers/suspension clearance, ect ect
  23. what engine again? i've raised my pd engine by 15mm by using engine mount spacers http://www.creationsmotorsport.com/images/products/large/501125506358fengine%20spacer.jpg
