Yeah, I'm paying out of my bank as I always have. I've not changed any settings I'm sure

Right, every time I use Paypal now it uses an 'eCheque' which takes 10 days to clear, which is a bit crap. I'm sure it used to be instant? Am I doing something wrong? I've had a quick look through the settings but can't find anything about it.

Yeah, they should do what they do in France. All the signs by the motorway have one limit for dry and one for wet, so if it's raining you have to go 20 kph or whatever slower. Which makes sense. The motorways are the only speed limits I disagree with. I never break limits around town or whatever, but on the motorway I usually take 80 as a guide and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only person. The problem is that because so many people do this, the limit becomes a farce and like F-stop said, if they were to raise the limit, some people would go much faster.

Fusion has been done. Cold fusion has not. At the moment you need to use bags of heat to make fusion happen so it's not a good way to make energy. The challenge is to get more out than you put in, and that's why the sun works, because it's on such a huge scale in the middle of a big vacuum (space) = less heat loss.

Seriously, I didn't photoshop that. That's just what it came up with. But probably more of a glitch in the site rather than my awesome typing skillz.

You're kind of right about the atoms, but not completely. Whether something is positive or negative depends on how many protons there are compared to electrons. Every atom is neutral (otherwise it's an ion). The shell thing just dictates how stable the atoms are (and it's not just as simple as 8 in every shell ). But anyway, this has nothing to do with gravity! But I do love a good old bit of TF science discussion EDIT: Molecules are attracted to each other because in forming a bond, they will release some energy. Everything likes to make some energy, it's the 2nd law of thermodynamics - Everything tends towards entropy.

Gravity is one of four forces that define the universe we live in. The others being the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force and electromagnetic force. I think the easiest way to understand these is to just accept that's how the universe is made up. I know that's not really an answer but as far as I know, you can't really explain why these things happen. Seems like you've almost described exactly how planets orbit by accident there. When you swing a weight around you, it pulls away, and to pull it back in towards you, you hold the string and apply centripetal force (or centrifugal). However, the sun doesn't have the string obviously - the planet is held where it is by the gravitational force between the planet and the sun. Gravity is the centripetal force. Your string is gravity. When you swing your weight around, does it get any closer to you? Nope. Because the forces are equal - the centripetal force balances out the force of the brick going away from you and it's in an equilibrium. Which is why all the planets are in an equilibrium around the sun - They're in exactly the right place for it.

They'll be off an old school motorbike I think. Shimano didn't invent the v-brake you know - They just brought it to bicycles. I remember seeing a picture of a very old (probably 1920s ish?) motorbike with those kind of brakes on.

I'm a bit confused as to what Mk it is now... I thought it was a Mk3, but that guy you suggested says he only does pre 1995 which is Mk1, 2 and 3. So I dunno. Mine's from 1998 anyway, R reg.

I think you are right. Cheers Thanks for that, they seem almost like what I need. But I've had a nosy around and can't find the bit I'm looking for. It seems to be a more performance-orientated site.

You could try putting the seat in the clamp the wrong way round. That would bring it forwards a bit and might improve clearance. That's if you want to put it down

Yeah I've been to scrap yards before and they're generally friendly. But I don't think they'll want to sell just that part, they'll want me to buy the whole bumper and that'll cost a fortune.

I've somehow managed to damage the front bumper on my car... Not the whole bumper though. If anyone's familiar with Mk3 Polos, there's a bit under the main bumper that's made of a kind of rubbery plastic. I've basically just pulled that bit off by driving into a curb that was higher than I thought... Anyway, I'm pretty sure that I just need to replace this plastic strip and I thought if I could buy it, I could easily fit it myself (I think it just needs a socket set). But I don't know where to buy it. I guess I could try and go to a scrap yard, but it would be easier if I could just order online or something. Ta.

No. You're just a myspace whore and you can't admit it. But yeah, myspace and bebo are pretty gay. Facebook is where it's at.

Download Firefox and try that. It's better. It might be something to do with IE's settings, but it's probably easier and more effective to get Firefox. The other option is that it's some kind of virus, in which case Firefox will help. Get Firefox. Firefox. That name again is Firefox.

4.5 grand for a 10 year old corsa? Er, no thanks. In addition to that it seems that you've overlooked the fact that it's a total chav wagon and it looks stupid.

No, you're wrong. The best ones are the orange creams, and the fudge ones. The toffee ones just get stuck in your teeth!

You don't need to get 68 mm, in fact I'm not sure you can even get 68mm any more. Nowadays BBs all come as 73mm with spacers for different frames if you need them. So just get anything, as long as it's 128

I think you just need to download the latest Adobe Camera Raw, not specific for the D50. Anyway, it's HERE. Also on Canons you can't select RAW if you're just using the idiot modes (sports, landscape etc). Only in what they call the "creative modes" which means have, TV, M and P. So check that.

I'd be very surprised if the pop-ups weren't due to some spyware/adware. Do the usual virus scan + adaware + spybot and see what happens.

I think there are a lot of people who would disagree with you, and you can see some of the opinions up there ^^^. I've never had period pains so I can't really comment, but it's not pretty. And with the pill these can disappear completely. There are side-effects, but everyone is different and there might be none. And you have to bear in mind that pregnancy is a pretty dangerous illness And as has been said, the pill is more effective than condoms. For anyone that's really interested, you can look HERE (Wikipedia) which is about the pill that most people are on. Some people go on THIS TYPE, but only really if they've tried several different brands on the first one, or there's some medical reason. The second type isn't as effective, and it's more risky if you miss one.

Seems to have done the trick, thank you

Anything other than one finger braking is just wrong. There's personal preference, but this is just a fact.

You're a dick. I really hope you get arrested. Drink driving is stupid enough, but PLANNING to drink drive is beyond stupid. Jebus.
