I like the first one, lots I think the second photo (and the others that are basically the same) that you've overexposed it a bit. If it was all a bit darker, the woodland colours would look more realistic, and the sky wouldn't be so washed out. Also there's nothing really to look it. Try oversaturating it a bit in Photoshop, might bring out the colours a bit and make it look interesting.

I think it depends what frame, unfortunately. Which is why Fatty brake posts are like hen's teeth- they are so hard to get hold of because they are a specific thread.

How do you know it's the hard drive? Do you get any beeps or anything on the screen when you turn it on (without it working). Have you changed/upgraded/added stuff to the computer? It's probably a power thing, I would say. Try starting your PC with the minimum bits plugged in (Motherboard, 1 bit of ram, hard drive, video card). Unplug the CD ROM, any extra PCI cards and extra RAM and anything else that might use power. Then try turning it on. If it works now then you've got your answer. PSU problem

No-one on here has ridden it, and people are slagging it off (And comparing it to all the other bikes they've ridden). Awesome.

Haha, yeah, but will it be any good? EDIT: Will edit when it finishes downloading. Actually I won't, because no-one ever edits when they say they're going to. It's annoying *drums fingers* You would think I would have something better to do of a Saturday night... EDIT2: Actually I will edit to say this video was ace. Everyone should watch it. I'm gonna watch it again now, because I spent most of the first watch trying to work out where the hell I'd heard that song before. It's on Family Guy for anyone else wondering EDIT3: I see enough of boon's ass in my dreams, no need to see most of it in this video... Get a belt you hippy!

Tom Chilvers' bike looks awesome, but I didn't get on with it fantastically well when I rode it (for about 2 minutes). Most 24" bikes feel totally different to your average 1080 stock now anyway. In the same way that mods are different to stocks. Obviously there is more of a an overlap, but now (having ridden 24" for 8 months or so) I can't ride a long stock any better than I can ride a mod. Basically I can just about backhop I've never ridden an uber-short stock (Curtis, standard Leeson) for more than a few minutes though, I guess there's no reason why they wouldn't feel the same as your average 24. Meh, I like my bike

I hear what you're saying about just getting a 24" won't make you ride differently, but what advantages are there in a 26" for street? And is that what everyone should be doing (In your opinion), just buying 26" Leesons, rather than spending money on a few frame AND wheels?

In no particular order, and by no means my definite list (I can't be arsed to think). The Big Lebowski (I never get bored of this film) Sin City The Godfather (I and II) Goodfellas The Shawshank Redemption Pulp Fiction Schindler's list The Pianist Kill Bill I (Not II) City of God I've probably missed loads, I should think for more than a couple of seconds

Ah, so it's not an official version then? I would guess that you've burnt it wrong or something. Do any other boot CDs work?
-
Dodgy version of your Windows CD? Broken CD drive? Something is wrong, unless you're being stupid
-
Yeah, you need to go into the BIOS settings (press delete etc) and set the first boot device to CD-ROM, if it's not already. And then just save, exit and put the CD in the drive and reset the computer.
-
What version of Windows will you be using? If it's XP then you don't need to. Just put the CD in when you start the computer and boot from that. It'll give the option of formatting then. Oh, and because I can't be bothered to reply in the other thread, with Windows XP, you can't get the DOS prompt up properly, without some boot disks. But like I say, you don't need to anyway.
-
Yeah, you can do that. Acquire a copy of Partition Magic and it's fairly easy. I wouldn't know how to do it with any other software though. Not sure if there's anything free that is as good.

Just about every evening meal I have is with my family, all nice and everything. Although I'm not home that often. My Mum's cooking me Lasagna tonight! Woot!

Tricky question. The distance from the pedals to the bars doesn't depend on forks at all, so I would still say you ought to get the 2.5" bars. But like Steve-A said, high bars aren't for everyone. But I wouldn't worry about the forks, I'm not convinced they'll make a noticeable difference

Saturday isn't a working day for banks, I think. Just be patient, it'll come

I don't see why you would need to enable WOL. That stands for Wake On LAN, and it means that you can wake your PC up by pinging it from another computer. I don't see why that would stop the card from working, anyway. Has the board got onboard LAN? If so, you might need to disable that, but I don't see why. Perhaps the card is borked or incompatible with the mobo?

Yeah, but Channel 4 pay loads for it, they get money back in the advertising. If you download it, you don't get the adverts. It's still copyrighted even though it's been on TV. Although it's not very different to video-ing something and cutting out the breaks. Apparently some people are going to do on-demand TV with adverts. So you can download TV shows for free, but they'll have adverts in. I kinda like the idea, but I can't help thinking that torrents are free with no adverts...

What kind of dumb website refuses to work in Safari? I don't really NEED any more trainers (I have about 9 pairs), but I'm very tempted by this... How much is postage?
-
It's so you can download them in bits - like if one bit fails then you can re-download that. A bit odd as torrents auto-resume anyway, but it's not exactly difficult to extract them once you have WinRAR (which every PC should have anyway...). P.S. Downloading the OC is not legal.

24" forks are the same as 26" for length. The only difference is the v-brake/mag mounts. So if you're running a disc it doesn't matter.
-
I basically agree with everyone about the higher the better. I changed from 1.5" rise to 2.5" (Doublewalls I think), and it felt way nicer for bunny hops. And I have my bars cut down to around 25" I think. I thought I would hate it, but I didn't even notice it. Wide bars suck Stem length is a lot more personal, anything 80mm-120mm will do fine, just personal preference

I would say your best bet is to ask someone to make some. Clive Leeson would probably sort you out.
