  1. Rich Johnson used to do about 200 in a row....
  2. Smart car! Nice and easy to work on too. And cheap insurance...
  3. Try AutoTint Design The multichanger is not car specific, and you can get these anywhere. As for good places to by ICE stuff I don't know.
  4. Thanks for the comments guys. What's the RRP/going price at the moment for a 180 front? Thanks again.
  5. I dislike people comitting benefit fraud and taking benefits when they have no intention of ever having a job, such as trampy scrounging people. However, when I finished university I signed on to the dole (JobSeekers Allowance) because it's a state benefit. When I started working, the amount of money I had received on the dole was deducted from my tax-free earnings allowance, which suited me fine. You won't really be screwing people out of money because you'll be putting more than your fair share back into the pot in later life. So in fairness you may aswell get your money's worth now!
  6. I'm currently looking at buying a disk brake, and I'm considering the Hope Trial (Try-all?) brake. I've heard mixed opinions on the Hope Mini and Mono Mini, and my mate could never get his one (MM) to work properly. So does anyone here use the new Hope brake, and if so what are your (honest) opinions about it? All help/opinions much appreciated.
  7. My BT router (BT Voyager 205) has one ethernet and one USB connection, so two computers can share the connection - one USB, one ethernet. At the moment I connect my laptop using the USB cable and the other computers connect to a wireless hub (linked to the ethernet port in the router).
  8. I think 20:1 is about right. The Yamaha engine cases split horizontally don't they? So to get to the gears themselves and have a look would mean taking the engine apart, which isn't too difficult if you've got the tools/time, but is still a pain when you want to ride the bike! As for the kickstart return spring, I'm not sure where it is (I never took my TY50 apart). You could try http://www.sammymiller.co.uk/ for parts.
  9. Not really the same thing... Live and Let Die was shit hot. I particularly liked Baron Samedi.
  10. James Bond works for MI-6 (aka Secret Intelligence Service). MI-5 deal with domestic issues.
  11. There are some quarries that are good around Coniston water. Not sure exactly where as I had a 'guided tour'.
  12. I know what you mean Mr Monkey. What annoys me are the designer clothes wearing university students clutching copies of Socialist Worker protesting against capitalism. Too many do-gooders saying we should help everybody out but why?? Why does everybody feel the need to help everybody else out? Why do foolish people stop and hand out money to tramps on the street who sit there and smoke all day while we work? I think it's guilt. I don't feel guilty, I worked damn hard at school and damn hard at university and I'd like to reap the benefits of our capitalist society. I have no problem with student debt (of which I have ten grand), I have no problem with the health service and I have no problem with the government.
  13. I reckon you'd soon want more than an 80cc. As a kid I had a 65cc Yamaha (TY50 bored out) and I soon wanted a bit more poke. The 80cc crossers go like shit of a shovel, but then they are tuned for speed. My neighbour's CR125 Honda is damn fast too. As far as trials bikes go I would get at least a 175cc, but better would be a 250cc. Don't forget, in trials you're more interested in torque than speed. PS Just saw the comment about the Fantic - they're really good, and you can often pick up twinshock Bultaco's quite cheap if you look around.
  14. If you're going to have 110mm spacing I'd advise you use a cassette hub. The Odyssey ones aren't bad if you don't want to stretch to a Profile.
  15. Reminds me, you left your keys at my house. The ones with the mini tape measure key-ring on them.
  16. Does the shed on it's back not sort-of give away the fact that their may be people (gardeners?) inside?
  17. mtbFreeride.co.uk Perhaps you could explain why, when I visit this page, I cannot use the browser's 'Back' button to return to this page?
  18. I always found the Magura boosters (like their pads) work perfectly. I think half the problems people have with brakes are due to poor setup rather than bad components. As far as aftermarket boosters go, I really like the Carbonique one as it's light and stiff.
  19. Ashton's website says... "New 26 Justice in testing... will be available exclusively on this site in July" I think Aire Valley have the 20" bikes though... (Wayne??)
  20. No, so I didn't... To be honest I didn't think anyone would really care. Still, two pages of replies would suggest otherwise - you seem to have received lots of 'well done you's and a medal. :)
  21. 40", Ashton Justice (1019mm)
  22. For god's sake - don't you go to school... "I did a 37" about 2 hours after I did that one..." would be just a bit better. Why say it was 30"? You put a photo up so we could see how high you hopped. Quoting a measurement doesn't make it any better, and says nothing about the technicality of the move. I know you'd like to share your feelings of success, but honestly, if everyone here posted pictures every time they hopped a bit higher then the forum would just be completely flooded. And yes, ditch the tape measures. We all ride, we can all tell (within an inch or two) how high something is by looking at it. Jesus Christ...
