  1. I'd be more worried about that pop rivet someone's stuck in your ear...
  2. Doesn't mean they build snap-proof frames. Perhaps that's why you put Onza stickers on a Toxsin...
  3. I can see how it would be a problem....
  4. The worst thing about this kid is that he seems happy about it... I think the main thing is exercise not diet. I eat rubbish food all day (although I've started eating far more veg and 4 bits of fruit a day) but have never once breached 12st (I'm 6'1"). But I walk to work every day (not far now, but it used to be 2 miles each way) and every weekend I like to get out of the flat and doing something. Fat Bitch at work uses trains to get to work and spends all her free time in front of the TV - hence lots of extra weight and skin complexion that looks anything but healthy.
  5. Funny, that's always what my parents say...
  6. And while I'm at it... Can we stop doing that bit at the start of videos where we see each move but then just at the crucial moment fade to black. We don't need a trailer, we've already downloaded it. As far as tasters and sneak previews go, just bin 'em. We'll see it if/when we download the final thing. No 's' in 'anyway' either.
  7. British bikes, that's where it's at! :-
  8. Just looked like every other gap jump I've seen.
  9. Reckon that boy's got glue on his tyres or something.
  10. Yes John, they shaft you good and proper. If I register insurance at my parents RH postcode instead of my L one here, it's LESS THAN HALF THE COST. Stupid really, but that's how it goes. I'm 23, have had a licence for four years, no claims or accidents and CIS wanted £1695 for me on a 1.1 litre Fiesta with a value of £300!! Something ain't right there. My mum found a quote with someone else if I registered the same car at their house and it was £460.
  11. Andy is clearly talking about the new 26" Justice (which you'll probably have seen Martyn of Gav Bedford riding). As far as I've been told (by the aforementioned riders) it's 1060/65ish wheelbase with a slightly slacker head angle - either way, Gav reckons it rides really nice, and better than the old one. Sounds like a good idea to me - a frame for people who don't want something too short but don't want to go all the way to 1080+. Whatever, for those of you that haven't seen the alternative colour option, here it is... BTW, are you getting one Wayne?
  12. Probably not worth the effort. 385mm works fine.
  13. Remember once I trashed my backwheel in London, and we were miles from anywhere. So we put my rear skewer in my mates front wheel and used it to clamp my rear drop-outs to his fork/wheel, with washers between them. And so we ended up with a tandem with three wheels. It was a bitch to ride, but got us to the station.
  14. What's the hardest part of a vegetable to eat? The wheelchair. What's worse than a pile of 2000 dead babies? The live one at the bottom trying to eat its way out.
  15. Before you do... are you sure they're not the results for Knabb Quarry? Click on the Results button and at the top of the page I think you'll find those are results for the round in May.
  16. Yeah, I'd say so too. I'm using a 2.5 High Roller (SuperTacky) and it's spot on.
  17. Nice. Shame I'm away at the start of July but if it's going on in August I'll be there. That's what wound me up with the place (especially in the bowl) waiting for hundreds of fruiters to fall over and climb out.
  18. Good skills. You can wang my forks and T in your car then. Bwana. What is a UCI stock bike? Flip to tyre-tap I think he'd call it. But then there are probably a million names for any BMX move. Whatever, it's pretty damn good.
  19. That's Sowie park is it? Looks quite good - might have to come up some time. Started getting fed up with Rampworx because it was a trek to get there, and then I had to pay 5 or 6 quid and probably only got about 30mins riding a night because it's so busy. And with this nice weather I'd rather be outside. But yeah, nice move. When we going to see a flair??
  20. I think its wrong. With enough other stuff about, I think riders should use a bit of discretion (sp). War memorials remind me of what people my age went through to guarantee our freedom. I look at the shit that goes down in this city and I can't help but think the guys that are still alive must wonder why they bothered. But still, I think we should leave the memorials alone as a mark of respect to those guys. Does rather spoil it when there's some pointless bashguard mark or big chip in it when, lets face it, there are probably 500 other objects with the same dimensions in your town, if you bothered to look. Have some respect - leave them be.
  21. My Chieftain (mk1) cranks had a bolt on spider which I ran for a bit with Middleburn bashguards (pair).
  22. Won't be able to make that I'm afraid. Then I'm in France for the start of July. But you should come to the World round at Addingham (23/24 July). You'd be welcome to stay at my house (in Liverpool).
  23. Lots of people try and do this with the bike too low. You need your centre of gravity above the rear axle. As you lift off, pull the bike up and keep your body twisted so it's leading the bike.
