  1. My current average is 19.6mpg...but I only use the car at weekends, and I modified it to the way it is for a reason...economy wasn't it I went to Telford a couple of weekends ago to Ultimate Dubs; that's around a 300 mile round trip, I got 27.6mpg...so its not THAT bad for a car that shows up a LOT of far more expensive/powerful models.
  2. Best way to improve an LCR's handling is to fit a rear anti roll bar. Makes a HUGE difference to the handling. Other than that you're looking at lowering it, and polybushes.
  3. I wouldn't, just means more wheelspin.
  4. You are a bodging fanny He asked why the light was on, so I said why. Didn't realise I had to give your life story! Liam, it doesn't hinder performance at all, quite the opposite in the k04 turboed engines. On Jardo's engine, its just an emmisions thing. It can be mapped out, which gets rid of the light.
  5. Do you not think the two are related?! Its got an eml because its expecting it to be there and its not. Not being a dick, just answering the question. You're just jealous that my van can wheelspin too
  6. No VVT tensioner when there should be.
  7. Oh jesus christ...not ANOTHER one!!! Congratulations on losing traction on a wet road. My works van does that with the traction control off.
  8. Called out AGAIN!!! You're losing your touch Jardo
  9. I dont get home from wok until 5:30-6, and its at least 2h 30 travel, and that's with no traffic,
  10. Dunno if I can get there that early, better give it gives miss
  11. Ooh, where, and how much? Love Finch!
  12. May sounds pretty good to me. I don't normally plan that far ahead though, so should be able to manage anything with a couple weeks notice.
  13. I'm happy to go wherever, Oxford is cool for me. Hell, I drove to Castle Coombe for a day, thats a 500 mile round trip for me!
  14. Somebody with local knowledge needs to pick a suitable place. I think most people will be down for whatever. Oxford is pretty far for me, but I'm sure it will be worth it, especially if a weekend is made of it. I like the idea of go-karting, then going out for something to eat? Not so much the sleeping in a tent, but like Mike said, I'll go with the majority.
  15. Sounds ideal, I'm sure there would be a lot of dicking around, haha. My only worry is, last time I went go-karting was with work, and I broke the axle of the work brown-noser's kart in 2, and broke his finger by punting him off so hard (so Jardo, make sure you're never infront of me )
  16. Better How about go karting somewhere? Could have a bit of testosterone release without losing our licenses that way!
  17. Just to really f**k things up: 1. TB Mansfield, ng17 2. Mike, TN34 3. Robin, Chard, TA20 4. Jardo, Plymuf, PL2 5. Spunky, Norwich NR16
  18. Says he who parks a mile away from the curb outside his house
  19. Sorry dude, but it is. Its level relative to the valance, but its wonky when you look at it as a whole.
  20. Your exhaust is on the piss...
  21. Fill it and flock it...easy http://www.amazon.co.uk/Liftmaster-Multifunction-Entry-Profile-Trolley/dp/B002QO3W7Q/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1363540202&sr=8-6 Anybody got any reviews on these? Looking for a low entry trolley jack, seeing as I have to drive onto 2 bits of 2" x 4" everytime I want to work on my car, its getting very tiresome! Liftmaster seem quite cheap, but seem to be getting quite a good hold of the market. that model has 24 reviews of an average of 4 stars...but the ones that bring it down were both stupid reviews that didn't make any sense to give the 1 and 3 stars they did. I particuarly like the idea of a swivel handle, it means it can be jacked up in tigher spaces if needs be. It also has a light up pad, but that doesn't bother me, I don't work in the dark
  22. Ah, so it is! Bit naughty that its SORN'd and parked there, its a railway carpark, so is technically a public road! Seems 32k was what I saw then Still, 2.5L in something that can't weigh particuarly much will still be great fun I'm sure! Good idea to give the guy a ring. I'm fairly sure he's an old guy, most of the people along that road are 50+ As a side note, your insurance is shit, I pay less than that for mine!
  23. I got out of it very very very slowly, and with mud flying everywhere! My car now looks like its competed in some kind of off-road challenge Does look like its in very good nick, I wouldn't be surprised if it was indeed 32k I saw on the clocks (it was either 32 or 82...doesn't look like 82k's worth of wear though). Happy to make enquiries on your behalf if you so wish, or can just wait 'til you get back. It's been sat there a month or so, so I should think you could get a fairly good price on it. £165 for a year, or £165 on top of what you're paying now? Either way, thats cheap! What engine are they? Don't know much about the old Porsches, just know that the new Porsche owners get pissed off with me
