  13. Check out the strada smart cateye just made a Bluetooth bike computer to connect to your phone which will tell you when you get calls messages and relays strava info aswell. Probbably no help to you mate as you would still need to keep your phone in a bag or in the car. But to everyone else looking here it looks to be a really good bit of kit. i always miss calls and texts when i go out riding.

  15. Since changing from ffw to a hope hub. I don't think i could run anything else, its just been such a relable setup. Though i cant really say ffw setups are not was good as i have only used tensile and echo ffws
  16. Dual disc, riding street mostly keeps me happy, not to bothered about the rain. Just bothered about my mates not coming out because they run vees i ventured out yesterday in search of a dry spot and found a dissused mill with a shelter outside, just gotta setup some sections now
  17. I have had one since raceface had them in stock a few months back. i found it works best with a short cage clutch or type 2 mech as well i have seen a few people running them on bikes using regular mechs too. you can use any cassette 6,7,8,9,10,11 speed ect any mech will work. (though a cluch or type 2 works better) any chain will work too.
  18. just phoned hope to check whats happening regards freehub options for now the fixie hub will come with a disc mount to be used as a disc mount or fixed cog mount. and on the drive side a 6 bolt freehub fitting that will accept a 15t 6 bolt cog. they say the hubs sould be in stock by the end of feb or earliy march. i have asked if they could find out if the ss/trial freehub would fit the fixiee hub so we can use a 12t shimano style cog for trials.
  19. its all on the dealer site. its a 6 bolt cog mount i wonder if the trial freehub would fit this hub?

With 6 bolt freehub or 9t driver. 32h and 36h fixie rear 10mm bolt on. and 6 bolt driver + disc mount 32h if i find out more i will put it up here 1st
  22. Wd40 is mental oil based and is ok on maguras. used on discs using dot fluid it will make the seals swell up. car and motorbike disc cleaners have an anti rust inhabitant in the spray to reduce rusting of the rotors. this is basicly a very thin oil. use electrical contact cleaner if you don't like the price of bike shop brake cleaner. M i know mucoff and fenwicks will set you back 7-9 quid a tin. the electrical contact cleaners set you back 3-5 quid cheaper and better as its isopropal alcohol
