  1. And it foooooooooooooooolds like a biatch.
  2. Few pictures from Bristol this Friday. Improved a shitload at sidehops but no pictures of them lol Was a very good ride though and alot of fun. Almost got vertical hooks, just need to do Loyds wall "unaided" now. Gap down And back up Tap Half pedal tap Rail tap And the other way Would give credit to photographer but didn't get his name, John something I think, might be totally wrong though... Comments appreciated Cheers EDIT: Trying to resize but imageshack is being a total TWAT
  3. What a cool boy. Nice pictures but they're all a bit premature if you ask me. Your face is damn funny in some of them, you look such a mong. You are beasting sidehops at the moment though to be fair. And sorry Dan but...LMFAO at Staples
  4. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! So let me get this straight, you shattered your ankle bone and shin but could still "kinda ride" afterwards? And you had 6 X-rays and the hospital managed to miss the fact that you shattered 2 bones in your leg? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...................HA.
  5. Yeah I believe so, never got his last name haha Just know it was a John...
  6. LMFAO! That's brilliant, I could never do anything like that, fair play. A friend of mine fell asleep on a beach so his sister drew a penis on his cheek lol
  7. Bearing that in mind it's perfectly plausible that the driver could in fact take YOU to the cleaners at court. Would be easy for them to make up some bullshit about being traumatized by the experience and say how they would have noticed you had you been on the road and not breaking the law by riding on a pavement. Probably happened somewhere already to be honest... That's a regualr occurance on railways. It makes me so f**king sick though. People who wish to commit suicide shouldn't do it like that. Think how the driver of the train is going to feel after having to go through an experience like that, they'll feel like they've pretty much killed someone. They could be the nicest person in the world and something like that would absolutely destroy them. Plus there's the people who have to clean up after and just the whole "ripple" effect of such a death. Anyway on topic: I regularly experience the country's idiots on the roads as I cycle to school, work and anywhere reasonable really. Most recent one was at a junction I was indicating to go right and someone came down that road to the right and pulled out basically right into me, I had to swerve from the middle of the road and mount the pavement to avoid him. AND WHAT A SURPRISE, IT WAS AN OLD FART. Not a bloody clue those wrinklies.
  8. I can't be bothered reading back through it again but I'm sure they said in the OTN thread that the only change they've made is to replace the (apparently "weak" and "flexy") carbon clamp with a CNC ally one. So it still has the shitty O-ring seals.
  9. Yep, website if you're interested. It's very very noisy, on the way there we overtook this granny at a "fair pace" and I looked behind and she'd absolutely shat herself, was all over the road in shock! hahaha
  10. Oh no I run front and rear XT skewers on my FR bike Through Bulbs though... They'll be fine....... right?
  11. Just do it As long as you run the corresponding high-rise long length stem an Adamant or whatever should feel a little longer but obviously the bb rise does go some way to cancelling out this effect.
  12. There's a good reason it's the only one you know..... This man knows what he's doing I went to my Y11 one in my Dad's race car and I'm going to the Y12/13 (6th form) in it again. My girlfriend refuses to go in it with me though hahahahaha Feel a bit guilty about it but ah well her choice! I'm sure she'll have fun going in her friend's mum's Ford Focus... POW POW
  13. Looks shit. Reebok bikes are where it's at
  14. Might be a bit big..... That's actually the third prototype in the picture. I don't think "BIG" L has a clue what he's talking about and I'd be pretty certain he's probably not even seen the prototype in the flesh...
  15. Very controlled. With the 110mm stem it was unbelievably easy to manouvre but at a detriment to pretty much everything else (not to mention my comfort!). Now with the 100mm stem it's still very easy to control and I can get more bounce as I can move about better. Amazing what 10mm can do! Yeah Danny Butler and Thomas Ohler helped develop the frame and it was known as the Danny Butler signature frame for a long time before it's release.
  16. Are none of you doing modulated exams? f**k doing them all at once, I had mechanics and radioactivity in January and now have some other module tomorrow... EDIT: I'm with Ecexcel
  17. I know the technology is already around (it's an obvious development area but as you mentioned there are severe drawbacks) but I was thinking in terms of WRC legislation. "They're familiar because the FIA stipulates that every World Rally Car must originate from its fourseater road-car and be available to the general public (so at least 25,000 of them must have been built). But that's where the similarities end..." Taken directly from the WRC's own website. The time of Lancia Deltas and other similar cars was a very different situation in the rally scene compared to today's cars. Much much more regulation going on.
  18. I imagine the technology to keep the turbo spinning would at least be attempted to be transferred over to the WRC car but seeing as they run at high revs throughout the stages I doubt it'd be a whole lot of use... The car as a whole will almost certainly not go to WRC. For one it's not a four door (I think?), probably doesn't have "only" a 2 litre turbo charged engine and there definitely hasn't been 25,000 made of them!
  19. Franked and unfranked mail? Dunno. Good video though.
  20. I'd be pretty sure they are a minority. Most people with them (including me) haven't had any problems. I'm sure Adam Read ran the same set for over 3 years! And I'm pretty sure Danny Butler had his a similar amount of time (top UCI rider so he'll have ridden his almost every day...)
  21. Just out of interest, can Akrigg static gap/sidehop/to rear wheel at "World" level as well as being so flowy? Yet to buy this as I'm a lazy f**ker but I'm sure I'll eventually get round to it.
  22. Nice video. Riding Cheltenham anytime soon? Actually I suppose me and Dan might come to Bath. I dunno haha
  23. Had this about a month now. I lovers it Rides so nicely and I find I can manage to throw it around plenty even though it's wheelbase is almost 1100 (est. 1097). Quick spec: Onza Limey frame Echo Urban forks Echo Control stem Onza CF risers Front V!Z disc hub on V!Z 35mm rim Rear Chris King Classic HD on V!Z 46mm rim 180mm Mono Trial Tensile Crankset Maxxis tyres and tubes etc... Questions and opinions welcomed, post away
  24. Nice videooooo. Were you trying to make up for the lack of "big ass kill yourself stuff", as you put it, in the Austria vid? haha
