  1. 1970 Dodge Charger Obviously not stock as there's a great big supercharger sticking out the bonnet.
  2. If you're talking about the technology of hydrogen bombs if they want it then yes, they do have to bother. Surprisingly enough this stuff isn't common knowledge and not many countries are going to be willing to give it to them for any price. The subs don't need to be anywhere near those places, as they are equipped with Inter Continental Balistic Missiles which, as the name suggests, can cross entire continents (and further) before reaching their target with GPS level accuracy (something like 10 square metres, not that it matters much with an explosive of that yield...)
  3. What? Everyone knows we have nuclear capabilities, that's the whole point of powerful nations like us having them. It's called "nuclear deterence". It means other nations are (/should be) less prepared to nuke us as we can do it straight back. I know we have at least one nuclear submarine loaded up with ICBMs (can't remember the exact number but it's no "secret") and yes we do have land based missile silos which are obviously more secretive as they are more accesible than a submarine to terrorists and other threats... My friend's grandparents live near a very secure RAF air base. Big perimiter fence, big checkpoints, the works. However you can find the whole thing on Google earth and there are *massive* hangers and what appear to be missile silos. Obviously you can only speculate but it's rumoured to be the home of our nuclear bombers... ON TOPIC No I'm not worried yet about North Korea. Eventually they will go too far and the US will crush them, their nuclear ballistics are clearly not an effort to further the country. It doesn't even have a full working infrastructure. Their leader's activities are very suspect and he cannot go on much longer like this without some form of action being taken by the rest of the world.
  4. Go for a Giro Havoc as other people have said. Mine lasted ages before I ripped out the Roc Loc system falling back on my head. It's fairly comfortable and has good ventilation If you get the chance though, get a Xen. HOLY POOP it is comfy. Not snow camo though
  5. Nice pictures + nice riding. But the fisheye makes the sidehops look smaller than I asume they are. Keep it up mans.

    T-rex

Recently broke my Limey so back to the T-Rex for a while. Here she is, I'm actually pretty pleased with it. Looks good and rides alot better than I remember. Static ups are seemingly harder though particularily to back wheel.
  7. Not only a new hub, but a better hub.

    New Tra Vid

Holy willy poop. Beast of a video. Your best yet I reckon.
  9. Me and Dan noticed there was a crack between the seat tube and top yoke as you have just described on Stan's frame. Could be from the snap though but it's still a possibility it was there before...? An F1 car isn't designed to be crashed into walls though. This frame is designed to be ridden trials on. To progress in trials you must try things on the limits of your abilities which invariably results in crashes/bails during which the frame may be damaged. With natural OR street it applies. I certainly wouldn't complain if I was offered half price replacement especially in my circumstances. I've used Onza products for ages now and this is the first one I've been dissapointed with. If you don't slip up often then it might be ok. Like I've said several times earlier in the thread the bike rides really nicely just the downtube isn't up to the normal abuse.
  10. Seat or not that's brillllllllllllliant.
  11. That didn't work with me, she thought I thought she was cheating But it's all cool now and she knows I trust her 100% My girlfriend is too nice for that, she'll just keep asking what's wrong til I tell her what's wrong or whatever. Annoying when I'm just in a shit mood for no particular reason! But nice to know she cares
  12. Yes but on the other hand ever since I got the frame and before I've been raving about how nice it rides and even recomended it to a few people (check back in my posts if you don't believe me). I LOVED it It's just a shame about the downtoooooooob EDIT: They don't actually, the headtube is machined differently on the Limey so it takes a normal headset. You could actually take off the steel rings and run it without them. I'm talking about flaring of headtube.
  13. And use steel rings on the head tube to solve a problem that didn't exist in the first place? Fair enough it may be a "competition" frame but the downtube is still gunna get hit occasionally. Why isn't there a mention of the thin downtube on any descriptions like on the XTP's? "Thin tubing keeps the weight to a minimum, this is a serious competition frame!" I respect your superior knowledge and everything but it's still a wank downtube.
  14. You don't sound harsh, just very presumptious and a tad nieve. When I bought the frame it didn't have any cracks. Just a couple of dents. I had it less than 2 months during which it dented like actual tin foil. Do you really think Mike got that picture purely by chance? I noticed the crack coming around a carbon sticker I had on to protect from scratches so whipped it off and carried on riding for a little before realising it was getting huuuge (RE my post above). Everyone there (in Worcester) convinced me that I may as well completely snap it as it was 100% useless by then and I may as well get a (absolutely fantastic!) picture in the process. I fully expected it to snap yet it still took 3 drops to actually snap it! I'll say again that's the *only* problem I had with the frame. The geometry was nice, it was incredibly stiff and looked loverly.

    Rowan Johns

Rowan that was ace! Very enjoyable to watch. Were you on a bad day when I was in Bristol? hehe Speaking of which me, Dan and possibly Neil might be down again soon and I need to sort out hooking Loyd's wall! Gotta do it on a T-Rex now though! haha
  16. That paint job is gorgeous! Not my sort of frame but I'm definitely liking the colours.
  17. Probably best to point out that my downtube looked a little like this before I was forced into "doing a proper job" of breaking my frame (peer pressure!): It's obviously very frustrating but even more so because I believe that Onza were onto a real winner with the geometry, felt fantastic to me. I just don't understand how they think they can get away with a downtube that thin! Especially when they went through all that testing and several prototypes before releasing the final version. It dented so easily it's stupid, things that would have barely scratched my T-Rex put a fair sized dent on it. Luckily I've kept my T-Rex frame so I'll be back on that once I sort a BB tool that fits. As for warranty I'm not sure I can get anything despite it clearly not being fit for purpose as I bought it second hand and it's been stripped. Maybe half price replacement but not sure I want to spend more money on a Limey. Onza get your act together! Make a decent downtube and it'd be a great frame. A very dissapointed Shaun
  18. Nice pictures It's the first prototype Dan tested before the one he's on now.
  19. I think I have one of him in a quarry or something. Might have deleted it though. I'll have a look sometime but I'm sure someone else must have it. Tried checking his website?
  20. To be fair though he's probably designing the frames so that they sell well in the current market, not neccesarily to his own liking. Therefore he's designed it to the current trends in trials bikes to maximise sales and make a frame that will ride well for the majority of the market. As for his componentry, Ashton is bound heavily by sponsorship - it's how he makes his living. So he can't really be expected to fit his bike with what he likes really... Hate the bike, probably just me but it seems like Charge are contradicting themselves with the whole; Money no object, best frame money can buy and then going on to say they've given it a saddle so that the public understand trials better I must just be an "immature crowd follower" though...
  21. A man once ate an entire light aircraft over a year so, I'm sure a Hope Pro II can be done.
  22. Sorry I'm very very bored and bed dodging.
  23. Cheers Sam. Do you know if anyone got any pictures of me doing the waterfront gap? Fowards or "backwards"? You're right however Neil didn't manage to get it in the end although he did plant his face into it very very fast. I'm sure the footage will be in his next video but it was a very tasty crash.
  24. Internal headset? Or just dodgy headtube? Looks el gasho
