  1. I'd say you look fine on that, not like your too small for it at all.
  2. Only thing i'd change is that i'd carefully wrap some snadpaper round my finger and just take the paint off the top of the onza headtube logo, a silver logo would stand out more and look better than having it completely black. Otherwise, good job though... looks loads better.
  3. 1040 wheelbase Base TA26, get one cheap and it wont matter if it doesnt suit you as you could sell it on and make a profit. Just find someone selling one cheap
  4. Ha ha, rims had over 30 grinds now and has cracks and splits in it... new ones being sorted in the next couple of days though hopefully. I just felt the base was too small for me now with me being 6'5" and all, I was right too. I can do everything on the rex that i could do on the base only on the rex everything is easier, it still bunnyhops, still 180's... its great. New cranks are a second priority under a new rear rim and new tyres. Eventually i might get some nice blue zoo bars or something, but again this all depends on money and at the minute with freshers week coming up its looking to be unlikely
  5. Yeah usually, if its not attached to the bike, then sometimes they do it even if it is attached. If you bled it with mineral oil then whack some 3-in-1 oil on the piston when its fully out and it'll smear the oil around when it retracts back in once the lever is released. Do this a couple of times for each piston and you should be right as rain. If you bled it with water then just use some wd-40 or some other degreaser then whack a little bit of very light oil onto the pistons in the same way i described above. Give them a wipe down afterwards around the edges to remove excess oil so it doesnt get on your pads and you'll be fine. Make sure the brake is set up evenly as well with both pads an equal (short) distance from the rim.
  6. Well i got a longer frame, and its great Here's the pics Before pimpage: After pimpage:
  7. I didn't say HE was stupid, i said it was a stupid THING TO DO... an act of stupidity I didn't say the riding was shit either, we all started out like that, i just gave you pointers on how to improve, the same way i got them when i made my first video. Thats how you know you've owned someone
  8. Is there anything in particular you want included in it? Any ideas for types of fonts and things? Any original images to work from and include in the banner? I'd enjoy having a go for you but i'm not promising anything.
  9. My god you do go off at a tangent dont you. I explained why i told you how many songs i have on my pc so read properly. I'm not putting you down because you are shit, its constructive criticism... i told you how to improve the videos for when you make another one. Tar is free, so dont give me a load of crap about stuggling with money, you reckon your the only one with money issues, grow up. I never told you to get a new camera so read what i said properly, I told you how to use it properly. And yes i did know it was a .wmv, i wasn't telling you to make it into one, re-read it and you'll see what i said. You just dont get the whole owned thing. EDIT: I'm actually going to edit my last posts and point out the key bits so you can read what i said PROPERLY.
  10. It does suprise me how your mate wez has enough money to sort himself out with a full build t-pro but cant afford a screwdriver to dig some tar out the road like everyone else. And if you don't want to do that then you can even ask workmen for a bit next time you see them, they usually give you some... but you would know this if you'd looked at the threads like i suggested instead of trying to be a cocky b*****d. I never told you to get a new camera so read what i said properly, I told you how to use it properly . You just dont get the whole owned thing. If you make a bad video you have to expect people to be honest with you. If you can't handle being told its bad then you shouldnt have put it up until you'd made it into a decent video.
  11. It was shit really. Funnily enough i know what i'm talking about, with the video and the music. I've done plenty of videos myself and have even been asked to make kyle hinchcliffes videos, one of which was a promotional video for heatsinkbikes. I also have the option to rely on advice from friends who have studied film-making at university if i have an idea that i want to try, so i have input from very good film-makers on what things work well and what things don't. R&B? Jesus christ, jumping to incorrect conclusions there arent you. Telling me to talk to you when i know about rock wouldnt really help either as disturbed are more of a Nu-Metal band . I also have 3500+ songs on my pc ranging from mudvayne to jack johnson so i'd say i have a more varied taste in music than yourself and your apparantly biased likings of "rock" music. Yes that wez guy can help having a shit brake, theres plenty of decent pads available, topics on how to grind rims and topics on how and where to find tar so you can get that brake working within the space of a single afternoon... i never said it had to be perfect but it slipped on a correction hop in that video so doing a stair set with a brake like that without a helmet was stupid. It wasnt me hopping over two people its a random picture i found on my computer of someone down my local jumps a few years back. And lastly you don't announce that you've owned someone yourself... thats just sad, if you have truly owned someone then someone else (as in not you) will point out the fact you've owned them. Slightly more helpful: You should have used a better compression method with either the importing of clips from camera to pc or encoding of your movie maker project into a .WMV file to get rid of the pixelated picture, a better audio compression would help too, maybe something that doesnt have a variable bitrate. try some better angles with the camera, there were many sections with heads cut off and try to relax on your bikes as well, both of you look too tense on the bike and its hindering your abilities to control it easier. The beginning intro wasnt really neccessary either, it didnt come across as humerous if that was the intention, more annoying really and i wouldnt recommend something similar for future videos. Happy yet?
  12. Everyones mentioned the helmets so i wont repeat it. The song didnt go at all with the riding, the only hardcore thing about it was that you were hopping down stairs with really shit brakes and no helmets although i think that recipe for disaster was more stupidity than being hardcore. Was it taken with a phone or a budget digital camera?
  13. Shoe repair shop'll be able to tell you more, have a look in the yellow pages if no-one on here knows, they may even be able to do you a custom sole, i think the shop near me can do moulded rubber soles so it might be worth a try.
  14. Todge is currently out of stock, and just got the latest ones in tofay, he's just gotta machine them up and he'll have them to send straight out again Not discontinued anyways
  15. Annoyingly weird shits, and a square head... for you are what you eat I've done a RIDE magazine before for a tenner, and i did a box of tissues before again for a tenner, it helps being pissed and i would advise a lot of water with it. I didnt use sauces though, that was deemed as cheating and i wasnt allowed Its not so bad, dont be suprised if your tongue goes black from the ink though, mine did after the magazine.
  16. Yep the tpa bodge would have saved you a load of money, or if you really wanted to spend it you could have bought a fresh products lever with a nice tpa and much nicer lever feel
  17. It makes a god aweful rattling noise and sticks down off your chainstay a considerable distance. Okay for dirt jumping i guess.
  18. Look to the right of the megaupload logo, it says enter (some random picture letters) here: (enter it here) click download
  19. When supercycles had the limey in there i used to have a go on it nearly everytime i went in. It was a great bike and felt lovely to ride, it just sat so easily on the rear wheel.
  20. Right sprocket wise you'll more than likely want to splash out on a wide based one, something like a surly cog or, if you have more money than sense, a chris king one. If your on a budget gusset make wide based rear cogs as well as "on one" but at a cheaper price than both the surly and the king versions. You'll also need some spacers to fill up the area around your cog that would normally be surrounded by other cogs on your cassette, If you have some old cassettes lieing around you can undo them and take them out of that, similarly you can actually buy single speed kits but these are about £20 and come with a single speed cog, however these cogs have a thinner base so will more than likely dig into your freehub shell. I currently have plastic pipe from B&Q as my spacers, its cheap neat and can be cut to whatever size you need... its something like 87p per 2 metres or something silly like that. Any single speed chain will be fine, a KMC Kool K710 should do fine or a KHE collapse chain though the latter is slightly more weighty. Radical rider is correct about the cranks, take the arms off and have a look at the bb. If its got a square axle which i'm pretty sure it will have then you have a square taper bottom bracket, if its got lots of riges along it then its an ISIS bottom bracket.
  21. Apart from the fact its like £9 for 50 DVD-R's so you get 10 discs per series and if you can fit 4 40 minute episodes onto a disc you get 40 episodes worth of space per every ten discs, the average tv-series is between 20 and 25 episodes so there'll be some discs left over still. For £9 i doubt you could buy the box sets for 5 series of tv show, unless its a really old show that might be going cheap on ebay. Add me to msn, i'll get your nero working with dvd discs.
  22. The episodes, depending on what they are will be utterly poor quality though. Not to mention the compatibility of the players being an issue, my dads £30 sony player from asda doesnt play vcd's or svcd's If you have a DVD-Rewriter fitted to your pc you can either pick up a copy of nero 7 ultra off ebay for around £4 or illegally download it for free and have the weight of doing something wrong bearing down on your conscience If you already have nero 6 though add me to msn and i can give you a hand with sorting it out for you. EDIT: Just seen your post, the series will be a larger size when you import them to make them compatible for use on dvd players however if your only going to have them as like a dvd data disc so they just work on your pc then yes they will fit.
  23. Because you do lots of things in your imaginary world. All i'm saying is it worked for me so it cant be such a major thing as to have yours not work at all
  24. Pull on the bars more, stamp on the pedals harder and jump higher. The more experience you get the easier it will become, thing is your just going to have to practise. If you want to get up the curb properly start your hop roughly one wheels length away from it and then once yuo can do it easily everytime try an inch or two further away. Maybe put a chalk line onto the road so you have some sort of line to line up to to ensure you gap consistently. Just keep at it and you'll find it much easier.
