  1. I'm not surprised, it'd probably take that long to chew all the metal and plastic.
  2. Single-moved, repetitive, boring and unimaginative. Basically just start at either the top or bottom of an object and get up/down in one move with more points for it being large. Then film you doing it and put it in a video, playing each single move 3-4 times from different angles and slow-mo'ing everything. Fish eye lens on the camera is a must, screamo music optional.
  3. Sintered pads always seem to squeal/howl more than organics too. Though the hold is better with them. If your brake is rubbing slightly it does get annoying wheeling the bike through work having it squeaking every wheel rotation. I always bedded mine in by getting myself to a fast speed then using the brake to slow me down without it locking at all. Keep going up to a high speed and let the brake slow you down again. Read somewhere that performance race cars do something like that for their discs.

I can't explain, i was asking if it was correct. I've not looked at their site or anything, only read that news article.
  5. The model 520 rings a bell for some reason. It was happening last year mainly. EDIT: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthrea...orsair+psu+blew I'm thinking of hiper.... my bad. Hiper 580 units died quite massively, corsair 520 are fine i got the models mixed up.

So they have to plan it by writing for permission? And... So is it basically just some people on a forum talking about doing it and someone's found out and thought it newsworthy?
  7. Either edit your posts so they aren't proclaiming on a PUBLIC forum that you have an ILLEGAL firearm or face a suspension. We won't tolerate such a blatant disregard of the law (doubly so for it being firearm related) on this forum by someone as seemingly irresponsible as you. You've just announced it. The forum is backed up anyway even if you edit it now and the police can use your IP address to come knocking at your door for a thorough search/prosecution.
  8. That's because you're actually gay and have gotten used to over-exaggerating your heterosexual alter ego in an attempt to hide it from the world.
  9. Awwwww, that's really cute. Built mine myself, just awaiting the delivery of a new driver and reflex port and it should hopefully shake the house/street a little bit.
  10. It's not going to make much of a difference unfortunately. http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,685770/...-2009/Practice/
  11. Its well known to be a complete pig to run well. Mine won't play it smoothly and i've got a 4850 overclocked to 4870 speeds.
  12. spdif is a digital connection either through a single RCA socket or an optical one. If the connections on the back of the projector are audio out connections it should work, there won't be a compatibility issue so long as your doing audio out on the projector to audio in on the amp. Yamaha amp looks about right, i'd pay around £60-70 for one of them. For sale section on AVforums is always a bang on place to get kit from for exceptionally good prices.
  13. Nice choice, the brand renowned for having tonnes of them fail and take other components with them My enermax has been lovely, put it in and forgot about it to be honest. Things to go for... -good make -modular -enough wattage
  14. I got a new sub too What's yours?
  15. Transformer sounds in there near the Mt Eden bit and rythm stick sections?
  16. Spent £40 on shopping a few weeks back, bought loads of extravagant stuff like succulent chicken breast, mince beef, battered haddock fillets, tescos finest ice cream etc. Lasted me and the mrs around 2-3 weeks of meals every night with the odd exception of curry night at the local pub and a take away here or there. Not really anything to compare by, i just wanted all you noodle lot to know that i'm eating tesco's finest ice cream and huge meals with giant yorkshires and gravy every night for just a few quid more than your noodles work out
  17. The HDMI Optical dongle only came with the elite 360 and is now only available separately. The use of the standard vga optical in combination with hdmi is not highly recommended as it pushes the hdmi to one side causing a temperamental connection, even with the plastic casing removed. I always recommend a cheap seperates 5.1 amp. Multiple inputs to a single set of speakers and huge amounts of customisation. Though this does come at a price as the main unit and speakers are slightly higher than the all in one packages from the likes of sony, samsung, bose and all the other crappy ones. Though from what you're saying you'd just like to hook up the xbox to the surround sound dvd player and want to know if it would work. In short, yes. Though you'll have to check what inputs are on the back of whatever surround unit your buying to be sure you can hook your 360 up to it as well.
  18. Any particular reason for such a small size? If it's a cost thing a 32" can be had brand new for around £280-300 by the likes of LG and SAMSUNG etc. http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&amp...=N&start=60 If it's definately a 22-23" you want i'd recommend this one. I have the slightly bigger pc monitor equivalent and the screen itself is gorgeous. Currys also have the january sale on with some very nice reductions. You could always pop in and get a 24month payment option which means you can pay the whole amount off within 12 months without incurring interest. Just pay the amount off you have aside now and then you have up to 12 months to pay off the remaining amount (which could be £50-100 over 12 months).
  19. A bk electronics 500watt plate amp for a DIY subwoofer, assassins creed 2, guitar hero drums and guitar, jumpers, biscuits, a nice guiness mug and some cash from my nan and aunt.
  20. I've been to work and come home, 6am starting time then i'm there until i feel like it. Works for me as i get the day to myself!
  21. Mate, i heard on the radio earlier that prestwold doesn't have christmas eve until 11.59pm on 24th december every year!!!!!
  22. I've never really been a fan of the triangular style rims, i think the only one that looks half reasonable is the EX729 or the ex325 disc only but it's not really a whole load lighter than the dx32.
  23. Just stripped my bmf and re sprayed it ready to build it up and it looks very nice at the minute. I think i'm kind of swaying towards the DX32 route (helps with it being the cheapest option too!! ) although i'm wondering if i can save some weight up front by going for something a bit similar in shape but lighter, like a rhyno lite or something. Cheers for the offer on the wheel paul, but i think the red would be a little drastic on an otherwise black/silver spec'd bike. I think the equaliser rims may be a bit small for me, i'm fairly weighty at 16 stone
  24. I've managed to pick up some VERY cheap parts for a play bike recently (one of the benefits of no time constraints) and am looking at sorting out a new set of wheels for it. Now my choices are use my existing planet x bmf and get a dx32 from tarty's to match it. Buy two new halo SAS rims or get some sun single track rims in that urban camo paint job. I need a front hub and rim as my current one is non disc and i want a front brake. So i was going to get a hope xc hub off ********* as they're only £20 on there at the minute. I guess the cheapest option is the dx32 and then spraying it black. Or should i splash out and get the SAS rims? Would there be any benefit over my BMF rim? Weight wise the halo's are 780g, dx32 is 779g so they're the same. The sun ringle rims are 630g each. The camo rims would look something like this, but on a muddy brown kona shred (£40 bargain new off ebay).
  25. They are nice headphones but very flat. If you're going to be using them with hi-fidelity music samples then they'll really do them justice but if it's with an mp3 player with compressed files i'd go for something like the sony mdr ex71's. The sony's have just that slight more punch to them and the low notes on the ex71's are by far a lot better. The sony's are not without their own problems though, the earbuds can stop working and need to be warrantee'd and the cable used to be prone to disintegrating after being on a sweaty neck for a while.
