    Tires?

Tioga DH 2.3 Front Michelin DH16 2.5 Rear. The Tioga, because I needed a tyre about 2 years ago and that was free. Seems to be grippy enough. Michelin Rear because they are Very grippy, and almost impossible to puncture, even at the lowest pressures. Heavy though.
  4. "Motor neuron disease usually occurs in people between the ages of 40-70 with the average at 55. There have been a few cases where onset has started as early as in the teens. The diagnosis of MND is made from a physical examination, an EMG study and a pattern of finding and excluding other diseases which allows the neurologist to establish a diagnosis and to determine which form of the disease is present." The doctors going to wear you like a glove.......
  5. IN THE RED CORNER....... Look ill go to my mums tonight, sit with the offending pc, and have the laptop on so I can use the internet and try your ideas. Theres no need to get medevil on this. I format and reinstal will be my last option though, as it is a belt and braces repair. Also rocks, your post had too many computer words in that I dont understand
  6. I would imagine it being a trapped nerve in your neck, apparently quite common in men. Have a good strech, maybe a nice hot bath and chill out for a while. If problem persist please contact you gp (like they say on medicine bottles)
  7. 2 links I ment, to make the chain join to itself but 1 peice shorter if you cach my drift.

Got a PC with wireless card in, and a wireless newtwork (works fine laptop can connect to internet) but when you try with the desk top, it connects to the network, had very good signal, but wont connect to the internet, What can I do to remedy this? The network runs fine, and the PC is connected with good siganl strength. But when you try and connect to the web, it wont, Tired diagnosing with windows but its no help
  11. All I get from lookinginto the future is the knowlage that we wont be able to afford any of these nice new gadgets becasue we will be taxed through the arse hole for them That and wondering who the next contry we decide is a "world threat" because they have more oil than us. Someday the contry we invade is going to kick our arse.
  12. If you have an idea where it is, whats stopping you going over there with a couple big friends and simply saying "I have reason to belive you have my bike" Dont get aggressive at 1st, if they have nothing to hide then it shouldnt be a problem. Ask for proof its not inside, ie inpection. If they have it, or seem suspisious then your big friends can simply step in and insist. I wouldnt think twice about it if it was my GU. Hope you sort it out, if you wernt soo far away from me I would honestly come over and help you ask them
  13. Got me a new drivetrain, 20t Chainring, 17t Sproket, KHE Collapse chain, Gusset Tensioner. I fit the chain, its a tad long. Its on and tight, but needs a fair amount to swing on the tensioner to keep it on. I cant remove 1 Link cause it would then be too short to fit. The Chain came with a split link. The Type with the Plate with 2 pins, a plate for the top and a Circlip. Would this be strong enough to use on a trials bike? I havent used 1 before, unlike the Sram quicklinks which were really good. Dont want to stick it on and have it smap after a couple rides. Does anyone use one, or should I just leave it a little long?
  14. Go for a Capri. The 2.0l Engines are damn strong and easily tuned. The body work isnt to hard to take care of if you can find a tidy example. Theres good suport for parts and tech suport, and there is lots you can do to them. Also if you choose to keep it, and want to go to a bigger engine, there isnt much you cant fit into a capri engine bay. Dont be fooled by twats like this Guy: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Capri-2000cc_W0...1QQcmdZViewItem They are the Ultimate in 70s Cool, and great fun to drive. From Standard: To Full Race:
  15. The Sound of 2 engineers installing a new Dyno in the test cell next door.
  16. Ah a new lever. I havent taken one apart before, and dont want to take mine apart, just incase. Have a go at sticking a bleed syringe on the brake caliper, removing the lever and putting pressure on the syringe, to see if it will pop the cylinder out. Becarefull no to loose bits, maybe hang a rag over it to stop things flying away.
  17. Im going to say yes. I dont ride as much as id like to, got back into it this year, im trying to ride at least once a week. other commitments keep taking time, Girlfriend, job, car, house you know
  18. That Tube is the Master Cylinder Piston. It should go in with the hollow end facing out, and the end with a point inside, going in the lever body. Ive found the best way to remove them is to take the lever off the bars, take the hose and bleed screw out and use a 1mm alley key, or something as small, to poke through one of the holes to push the piston out. You may want to clean and lubricate it before sticking it back in
  19. You can either use a single speed Kit, Ie, tensioner, cog and spacers or you can lock out your mech and keep your cassette. I have been using this method for about 5 years and its been fine. All you need to do is remove the spring from the rear mech (the spring in the frame mount peice) and fit a spacer on the bolt to the frame. When you tighten the mech it will lock, so it wont go up and down. The use a small peice of gear or brake cable (could even use a a spoke) and lock the mech into your chosen gear, just by running it through the cable stop on the mech, then to the cable bolt on the mech. If you want to save some money you can strip your cassette down to only 1 cog, by taking it off, and removing the 3 2mm allen key bolts in the back. The cassette will fall apart, and you can simply pick out your required cog. Then you will need some spacers, you can use the cassette spacers (you will need more that 1 cassettes worth) or buy some/make some.
  20. If your going to customise it, then you need a hammer and Cykle on the headtube.
  21. Check One more for BB7. Lock really well and feels good. I would go for an XTR lever, and Im using a standard cable and outer. Go for the 8" rotor. Also Keep and Eye on Ebay, got mine Brand new for £25, was from a repo company in the USA that shut a bike shop down and was selling their stock.
  22. sounds like a right bubble. I take It if I read through the many pages of the officail thread people are going to meet somewhere and convoy there?
  23. Sounds pretty good. Whats the atmosphere like? Will it be NASS 06 Esq, Music, Booze, Booze, laughs, messing around?
