Ah bikes from My Prime of trials. Those where that days, bikes where short and hard to do anything on, but it was so much more fun doing it. If it was my Desision, I would hunt for a Rocket FAB Pro Trials. That was a frame. Loved all 4 of mine to death. Ill keep an eye out for all the people round here Who still have these bikes in the shed doing nothing, Might be able to get hold of some real old skool treats. PS dont forget the Club roost Stinger Trials......

You will never have a chain that is tight all the way round. The reason being that manufacturing tollerences arent 100%, which means that your Chain ring and cassette/rear sprocket arent completley round. All you can do is set the chain to the correct tension at the tightest spot and deal with it being a little slack elsewhere. Buying more expencive drive gear will have less deviation in it, but they will never be perfect.

From what ive been told there is no 1 Stig. The Stig is many people, the criteria needed is to post consecutive lap times under 1.44 This helps the stigs ID stay hidden, as anyone accused of being him can be shown with another stig to get the heat off. If im not wrong the whole football Aygo team where sitgs. 2 F1 drivers were caught on the Payrole for BBC top gear for "performance driving"

You Know You Havent Riden Trials For A Long Time When
trials_pimp replied to trials_pimp's topic in Trials Chat
should be ineresting to see what I can still do. Just waiting on some good weather now so I can get out, Might be an idea to give the bike a once over to see whats dead. Hopefully be back on form for the summer and back on some rides -
Its occured to me that I haven riden in a long time, which sucks. You can tell its been to long Because: The Calluses on my hands have dissapered. Ive lost lots of Muscle Mass in my arms shoulders and legs My tyres are flat Before I moved house 2 weeks back my bike had on it: Trials Gloves 2 Helmets Motorbke helmet Motorbike gloves 2 jackets Duvet Cover (wasnt being used to cover it, was rolled up and over the rear wheel) Beanie Hat Goretex Camo Trousers Hoodie An XC bike Aswell as all the cobwebs in the spokes. Well this has to come to an end. Im healed now (for those who dont know I trapped some nerves in my spine) and should have the physical strength to ride once more. Chances are I wont be able to ride at all well.

You dont get them anywhere. You do it yourself. Voids all warrenty though. Ive seen water cooling kits for them in America Aswell. Its just like modding a PC, same principal

whats the point of hauling loads of fuel now?? that would just waste the point of the strike. They are striking to bring down fuel costs, but if you go and fill up every container in your house the oil companies will still make enough moeny not to worry about the strike The idea is to not buy fuel and let the impact of drops in profits hit the oil companies and they will have the required leverage to sway the government. I think everyone should be starved of fuel so they really get the message

I went from a Saracen (-5mm) to and Ashton (0mm) ti a Zoo (+5mm) to a GU (+60) Each change felt like a progression, and going from the zoo to the GU was the biggest leap, found it hard to start with, as I kept riding with the front wheel way to high, and the bike is really skitty on the back wheel. But once I had got used to it, it felt better. The raised BB brings your hips forward, which gives your a better line to deliver the power. It makes the big less stable on 2 wheels, but more refined and more easliy tuned on 1. I dont think BBs should go higher than 60mm.

Seems alright for all you daddies boys to critisize these bikes, you got your bikes paid for. Look out on the trials specific Market today and tell me what £500 will get you? A frame, maybe some forks. Now think about whole 26" bikes made for trials. MAD/Phase Onza Now whos going to spend tons of money trying out a sport they may not like. Budget bikes play an extreemly important role in promoting the sport of trials to everyone, not just the rich kids. When I started the ONLY trials frame was the Ashton Beast of the East, and it was £800 Trials will nevr grow unless it becomes more available. Onza and MAD and sticking their arses on the line by bringing out bikes, made for a sport that destroys them, at low prices. Its nothing like Raliegh, they bought out 1 trials frame, and it was about £700, and very limited. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I do like the idea of re-relasing the T-raptor with the problem area strenthened. They were very popular a while back

Can Somone Find Me A Pgo Scooters Parts Supplier?
trials_pimp replied to trials_pimp's topic in Chit Chat
ill get on that tommorow Anyone else have any other ideas? -
its exactly the same as stock bike that can jump up 4ft. Practice and nothing but. If your sick of low BB heights you dont have to get a mod, frames like GU have + angle BBs which should help you stick wth stock. Mod bikes are easier to do more technical moves on and easier to throw about, stock bikes are more stable and better for street. think about what you want to do

My Girlfriend has a 52 plate PGO galaxy 90 scooter. The headlight bulb went and it seems that no motorcycle shopin sussex has even heard of the make, let alone can source a bulb for it. Halfords are no good either. I have tried to locate a dealer through the PGO importers website, but the dealers I called, that were listed on the PGO site had never even heard of them. Anyone know of a dealer or someone who can help?

I use a tubless tyre on the rear. Michelin DH24 Still run a tube, just use it due to thicker sidewalls mean you cant get pinchflats.
-
use a chain tool. Most of the have a peice for removing stiff links. Stick it in the rear part of the tool, wind it in until it touches then turn it between 1/4 and 1/2 a turn. Fixed. Sram PC48 chains are the nuts, just watch out for the rollers dissapering from between the links.

You dont have to buy a trials bike. You could just buy a regualr mountainbike with a small frame, then if you decide you dont like it, you still got a normal bike to use. Start by dropping the saddle, removing the front top 2 gears and go from there.

Was looking at the new dneg hubs on Tartybikes, basicly a singlespeed version of the Pro2. Has anyone riden these hubs yet, wouldnt mind an insight to what they are like. Just a shame they arent 36h

That sucks dude. Shame there is people out there like that. Next theyll be claiming whiplash and all sorts of bogus crap. People like your Ex need to be dagged through the streets and publicly shot, I for one cant stand cheaters. If you cheat on someone, that means you no longer love them, so have the god damn decency to tell them and leave, dont drag them along for the ride.
