  4. I seem to remember that 7075 is great for machined parts, 7005 and 6061 are often used for frame tubing. I was under the impression that the whole frame is usually heat treated?

  6. It would be obvious by the 80" sidehops, the 80ft gaps and the up to fronts of a billion inches
  7. I thought you might, but hoped you wouldn't say that
  8. I have just tried to find it. It seems you are right I hate losing curbs A curb comp is an excellent idea. That is about all there is to ride where I live atm.
  9. Any ideas how restrictive it would be to friends of members?
  10. Should I do what I've been doing the next few years and get the next Samsung phone? S6 has just come out and I do like the Samsung stuff, but I'm starting to get annoying issues with my S4. Could go for whatever, but it will not be apple. Cheaper to buy a Nexus (5?/6?) and then I can root and do what I want and get a sim only contract? What do we reckon?
  11. I quite like that actually. Any ideas on frame weight? Geometry would also be nice, however I reckon long and high is almost certain.
  12. if you don't care about weight get the revell pedals, they are the shit
  13. Depends if it is a dead cell or just run flat.
  14. Wouldn't that loosen when you pedalled? You're probably right, meh
  15. YAY DAMON FOOTAGE. Big techy shit. I like it!
  16. Hello All, Not updated in here for along time. Sold the commencal and built this: I wanted a really clean light weight build. Got the frame for free, stripped it, put the wheels from the commencal onto it. then bought a loads of bits and fitted a load of old freebies I had. Not bad eh, probably around 350 spent on it. I went with carbon forks as they were free, but thinking I might get some small suspension ones as it is bloody hard to hold onto the handlebars over rough terrain. Cheers, Ash PS, yes they are 05 Zoo! handlebars lol EDIT: It currently has 30 gears, not sure all of them are necessary...
  17. Yeah I didn't get why there was a light house there either. Nice riding though and looks like a pretty cool spot. Would kill for something like that to ride around here.
  18. After watching Ali C and Ben Travis' new video I went out on the 24". Not only is Alton probably the worst place in the world to ride, but I am crap on the 24" now. Can't even remember the last time I rode it. Managed a few manuals and bunny hops, mostly curb lines as Alton is that shite. road a tree stump for a bit. Not even out for an hour and I'm back home as I rode every line I could find. Granted with f**k all style, but Alton is done.
